About my college

Positive thing about the college, college building is near the western ghats hills. So the beauty of nature is visible near the college. Wind and breeze are heavenfull. The weather conditions are good. Negative thing, canteen facility is very poor. The food provided in the canteen is not good and it causes some health problems. The cleanliness and food preparation is good. But the taste of the food is not.

Course curriculum is not worthy, there are only main courses are provided. And the exam structure is so stupidful. Exam are conducted only for the purpose of record maintaining and not providing the knowledge of engineering.

There is no placement in our college. Very low profile companies are hiring the student on bond basis. The leading companies or other highly reputed companies are not participated in the placement but there are advertising as placed in top companies. Its a fake advertisement. The college does not provide any internship.

Every year symposiums are conducted through the departments. But its not worthy. Only a couple of students will participate in that. Other college student are very few to attend the symposiums. There is no importance for the culturals. Annual day and sports day are conducted. The timings for both may be 4-5 hours.

The fee structure is feasible only. It depends upon the academic performance of the students during board exams. There is no extra fees for other purposes and not include any other breakage fees. The management does not ask for the deposit amount.

The scholarship are available only for the regular students and not for the students who comes under management quota. The loan facilities are directly available from the bank through the request of the college.

Extracurricular activities are conducted twice a month and the prizes are distributed on the annual day. The labs are very compact and there is no proper maintenance. Sports only conducted in the proper way but there is no proper guidance for the studens.

Some of the alumni are friendful to the students. They help them to achieve the best things. Only few of the alumni are giving the best and some of the senior students guide them in proper way and the rest does not concern about the juniors.

I've applied for Tamilnadu Engineering Association counseling in the year 2015. I choosed this college for my personal convinence. The counseling process is held at Anna University Chennai. I went there and choosed this college.

There are very less number of faculty which is not enough to run a engineering college. Only few of them were experienced and knowledgeable person. And some of them are not even able to teach. Communication skill is very worst among faculties.
