My experience in L.N. Mishra college of business management

I chose BCA as my bachelor's program cause in this course , I will get to learn different types of programming languages like C, C++, Java, Python etc. Since I want to pursue MCA after completing my BCA course this curriculum will help me to chase my future academic pursuits. Personally I can't find any problem in the current curriculum so nothing should be removed from the current curriculum but providing additional lectures on Artificial intelligence and Data Science will help the students to be prepared for the future. The exams are held in every two months of the course . The difficulty level of the question paper can be considered as moderate to hard .

The company which provides internship opportunity to students in the college is TCS with the stipend ranging between 10k to 15k per month. The interns basically have to do work related to data management.

The Placement ratio of my college is very low . From the 5th semester students usually start getting placed. The main companies who come for the placement in BCA are TCS , Infosys and Wipro. The exact data of the total no. of offers made is unknown. The highest package offered by the companies is 3.5LPA and the average package is 2LPA to BCA students. The percentage of the students getting placements is very low. I want to pursue higher education for better career growth by pursuing MCA.

In the college no annual and technical festivals are typically held. The study materials like books and journals provided by the college library is in a wide range with good accessibility. The facilities and technological provisions within the classrooms is average they need to install digital board in every class room. In the college campus there are badminton and basketball courts. There is not such types of social groups, clubs, or student portals. So there is very less social interaction and character development of the students studying in the college.

I chose this college over the other colleges because it is near my locality and also my family couldn't afford the educational expenses which we had to manage on sending me to the colleges which are far from my home. I also applied for the BCA programme in L.S. college but I didn't take the admission because the infrastructure provided by the college is not up to the standards. I didn't get rejected in any of the colleges I had applied. The eligibility criteria to appear in the entrance examination is coming from a science background with maths and securing above 50% marks in the candidate's class 12th board examination. The final admission is done after the candidate pass both the entrance examination and personal interview.

In a section of 60 students every 10 students have 1 teacher in ratio. The faculty members are very polite and nice with students all of them are approachable. RS Soni sir and Vijay Kumar sir are the two of them I liked most because of their teaching and explaining technics of different coding languages and DSA. There is not such faculty member i don't like every one is good at their job. In a sem 3 exams are conducted, 2 mid sems one is theory and one is online MCQ based and 3rd one is end sem. Exams are moderate level. In one section around 5 to 8 students are not able to clear the exam. Course curriculum need to update a little bit.

All the students who clear their class 12th board examination with 50% or above marks are eligible for appearing in the entrance examination. The final admission is done on the basis of entrance examination and personal interview. The interview questions are mostly based on personal likes and dislikes on both individual and educational level. The test pattern is based on basic level quants, reasoning and english. Since there is no hostel facility provided by the college the night life is none. Students go to their homes directly after the ending of the classes . College do provide a cafeteria area where students can buy snacks and drinks to boost their energy level required for the studies.
