Course Curriculum Overview
I am pursuing the B.Tech degree in Electronics And Communication engineering. Here a well organised and systematic curriculum is followed for educating the students till end. The frequency and timings of exams are also perfect so that students can easily manage everything. According to me, some new faculties must be appointed.
Placement Experience
A good on campus placements are provided by this college as many multinational, national and local companies comes here for employing skilled students. The average package of this college is around 10 LPA. Also these college helps students in achieving off campus placements for students.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for 1 year is Rs. 4,02,220 per year including everything, i.e. hostel fees, mess fees, transportaion charges, and tution fees (around Rs. 1,30,000 per year) etc. It is mandatory for each and every student to stay in hostel. Each student will be paying same fees irrespective of their castes and there are no fee waviers. Also, there are no any merit cum needs.
Campus Life
Many social and cultural activities and fests takes place regularly in this college. Also there are many cultural, sports, coding, robotics, mess committies which helps students in developing their skills in both technology and cultural / social areas. The events such as Olympus (for sports), Stavya (cultural event), robotics workshops and many more festivals in between are celebrated here. The infrastructur provided is excellent as it includes the playground, cultural activity ground, volleyball court, basketball court and many more things.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel saying is mandatory for each student in this college. The food is provided her 4 times that is breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner. A good quality of food is provided here including milk products everyday. The hostel rooms are also very good and has bed, cupboards, drawers table and chairs. Wi-fi is also provided in the hostel.
Admission
I applied for many colleges including many NIT's and other top IIIT's. But I preffered this college the most as it was in my homestate Gujarat and provided the courses at much lower prices with respect to some other private collges, and also due to package assurance I selected this college. The admissions are taken only on the basis of JEE Mains.
Faculty
The faculties are well educated here. A good relation is maintained between students and the faculties. I almost liked each faculty as they are all polite and helpfull. A student can approach faculties easily for doubts, guidance etc. In a semester there are two exams namely mid-sem and end-sem exam. The CGPI and SGPI are calculated for students performance.
Night Life
There are not any cafeterias and gyms here. The need of gym is there here but not the same for cafeterias as a two times meal (lunch and dinner), breakfast and also evening snacks are provided in the mess and its whole charges are included in mess fees. A very excellent library is there here with centralised air conditioning and has a huge space as many students can sit there and read. Students can go outside the campus but they must return before 8 p.m.
