Life at Nift Daman

The Course is being taught in terms of lot of practical work, craft clusters and exploring art, handicraft and its history. It gives exposure to Internships that make you ready to work in the industry.

Tution fees for the first semester is 183000/- and the total cost of studying in nift will be around 14lakhs. however there are a lot of financial aids and scholarships like sarthak for students who cant afford to pay that much. nift has 100% placement. and also gives exposure to internships

it has two fests, spectrum - it is an annual fest which is done at campus level and different colleges from the city where the campus is in participate in the culture, social, literary and photography events. converge - all 18 campuses participate in this event and it is an inter campus event. happens annually and one of the 18 campuses is chosen as the host. library has access to lot of books it also has a digital library where we can have access to books. classrooms are equipped with latest technologies, computers, machines etc nift is filled with events and almost every festival is celebrated there. has a lot of students clubs.

Hostel is equipped with all facilities. It is affordable also. rooms are big enough they have acs, beds with storage, cupboard, study tables, shoeracks etc common washrooms but clean. enough washrooms for no. of students food quality is also good.

Anyone who has passed 12th grade with any stream is eligible for the course. All application forms and dates are available on nifts official webstie nift.ac.in . Admission is done on the basis of your rank. Reservation benefits are also there. the nift exam has two steps, first is creative ability test and another is general ability test.

Faculties at Nift Daman are highly qualifies and experienced. Most of the Faculties are Nift alumni. They have great Knowledge of subjects. Faculties are easily approachable and there is a weekly mentor mentee meet where students can share their issues and get them resolved. Faculty to student ratio is great as one faculty teaches only 34 students at a time
