The course not only provides the bookish knowledge rather it is important for the challenges in upcoming life to deal with.It helps to develop a intellect thinking ability. The exams are quite frequent they are conducted after every 1-2 months.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure contains 3 major subjects fees which is Rupees 8100. And it contains 1 additional subject (Minor) which has additional fees of Rupees 1500. And minor subject is there only in 1st & 3rd semester. Therefore the grand total fees is 9600 for a student who has secured regular seat in entrance exam. The fees is more for student who has secured a self finance seat.In Rupees 8100 Tuition fees, Admission fees,Electricity,SPE Fee are included and 1419 is the caution money in the Rupees 8100.

Campus Life

4

Meraki fest was conducted last time and on 31st October English Fest Proscenium is conducted. It has several stalls for gamings like guessing the name of a movie by emoji and guessing actors name by their dialogues. It was a complete Theatre Fest. The books are very easily accessible to every student who has a library card. The library has wide variety of books and journals. Classrooms are with smart boards for more interactive teaching and learning. The tablets are provided in the reading room to students. Their was a recent atheletic meet where many sports are opened for students. Marathon was conducted.Students run social groups like Ajeevan Samarpan Parivar(NGO).It involves a overall development of a student in their life.

Admission

I have applied for 2 colleges University of Lucknow and National Post Graduate College. I have enrolled in National PG College because as always the result of University of Lucknow comes after it and till then I had taken admission in it. This college organises several fests during the academic year. This college invites several celebrities to perform and motivate their students. Recently it has organised a marathon of 10 kilometers in which there are atheletes of several states. I was not rejected from the other college and I had not attended the counselling for it. The faculty of National PG college is known for its excellent teaching. The college has a disciplined environment for students.Taking admission in University of Lucknow will be a concern for discipline. This college also has Anti-Ragging Commitee for student protection. The admission process involves a counselling session and then the fees is supposed to be deposited on that time. The eligibility is student must have secured atleast 60% marks from a recognised board. The exams preferred by students are B.SC , BA ,B.Com.

Faculty

5

The faculty to student ratio is 3:85 and the assistant professor and HOD are very nice to students. The faculty is approachable even after the classes. They also help students to get their career guidance. The faculty I like the most is Saksham Sir (Assistant Professor of Psychology). He is always there to solve the doubts of his students and to guide them. He always keeps the class very interactive. All the faculty in psychology is good. There are 2 Unit Tests and 1 semester exam. The exams are of moderate level. The students who are always non-attentive tends to face difficulties in exam as they are very easy. The course is updated according to current competative exams.

Night Life

3

The timings of hostel are 7AM-6PM. The hostel is at the walking distance from the college.Hazratganj is nearby to the college where there are several restrauants and cafeteria and movie threatres. Saharaganj is also nearby to the college at 250 meters.

Other Applied Colleges

University of lucknow | bachelor of arts

The result was delayed as always in comparison to National Post Graduate College and I got the admission in National Post Graduate College.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i have always shown interest in psychology and this was a force which pulled me here to study psychology. i would suggest some aspects of improvement like more real life study instead of just learning stuffs from the book. real life experinces and situations makes a student to connect and understand those topic more clearly. practical subject examination are of about 50 marks 2 papers and non practical subject of 70 marks 2 set of paoer each. i have also given an internal examination of around 25 marks for pract and 30 for non pract 1hr exam. sem exam of 2 hr each paper

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm from humanities background so the course is quite relevant for me. The course is quite outdated however it's the same for most of the universities. the curriculum should be aligned with the competitive exams and the teaching methods should be more inclusive about the competitive exams so that the student can prepare well not only for the present course but also further upcoming exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i was always inclined towards economics as a subject as well as real life application of it. The specific aspects of curriculum which influenced my decision of choosing this course were the integrated syllabus and practical knowledge being imparted in this. It helps me to analyse data and understand real world problem from a broader horizon which wouldn't have been possible otherwise. Even though there isnt any improvement needed since the faculty itself is extremely focused as to impart the best of their knowledge to us and is very well trained and supportive. The frequency of the exams is twice a year(2 set of semester exams and 2 sets of sessional exams within each year) timing of the exam is 2.5 hour for semester exam of each subject and 1 hour for sessional which are of 70 marks and 30 marks respectively. The difficulty level of the exams is moderate, if a student attends regular classes they would easily qualify the exams with a good grade and CGPA.
