The college is overall good, but its negativities would also be considered. If you really want to take admission here thinks twice. I would suggest to know in-depth about GIET and then, take admission here.

Many subjects are teached here according to the sem wise. subjects are followed by BPUT(University). In each sem atleast 5-6 subjects are present. total 8 sem is there. Exams will be conducted after semester completed(mostly in the month of May and Dec). Exam is based on grade system.

Placements are not good here. they says that 80% students got placed but this is not true, they invite very few compines whose reputation is not good in the market. Most probably, the companies which came to the campus drive were fake. they provide very less salary.

Not much events is celebrated in the college. only annual function is celebrated once in the year. however they organize some Seminars and invite some local lectures. Which is not much helpful for students. Students expect more from the college. some times they organize painting and singing competion also.

According to the college's insfrastructure and facility fee is expensive. which can't afford by a local person. but if you are getting Scholarship then it is some helpful for you. Hostel fee is average according to the facility provided by the college.

In the case of the Scholarship college is tottly worst. they are not helping much to the students, some scholarship named as prena and national scholarship is available if student is intrested then he have to filled the online form. Loan faciliuty is also available, college also helps to get the loan.

No extracurricular activities are organized in the collge. labs are not well mainted. for sports there is basketball & volleyball court is present the college campus, as well as cricket ground is available.

Yes I'm currently living in the hostel. Facilites are average not so good. wifi enabled which speed is approx 1MBps. food quality is very bad. Studnets are not satisfies with the food. Total 4 boys hostel and 2 girl hostel is present in the college campus.

A Traning & Placement cell is present in the college but they are not dedicated to brings good compines. Very Few seniors are there who really studying here for there future and they are really very good in nature and they always guides for a better carrier.

After appearing in the JEE main exam, I was go through JOSSA counsling where i filled various choice, one of them GIET is also. so i got admission here. since Odisha is also organizing "OdishaJee", if any student want to take admission then he must appear in these Examination.

Only few faculties is good, rest of them is not good. they don't know what & how to teach. Faculties who are good, their nature is very friendly. they are always ready to clear the doubts of the students. they are very helpful. they always give tips for the bright carrier.
