My college

Civil engineering is evergreen branch in my assumption. I think civil engineering has high opportunity of getting jobs. There are many posts even in the government sector for civil engineering. There are labs provided at the back of our college which is not fully equipped but we can manage with the available equipments

Companies like amazon, cognizant, infosys, google, tech Mahindra, dxc, CGI, SAP etc have visited once but amazon has vitied recently and 1 member has selected. 4th year onwards we are eligible for internship and placement trainings. We should have above 70% with no backlogs for placement trainings.

I have got seat from EAMCET and joined here so I am paying 15000 as others fee. Waste of 15000 they just give 2 tshirts, 1 small book, 4 records and a bag, the bag is for 4 years. From 2nd year they give uniform and 2 record books. We have 3 types of rooms in our hostel. Normal rooms are for 55000, deluxe rooms are for 65000, and suer deluxe rooms which I am living area of 75000 with attach bathroom.

We had clubs for our extracurricular activities like coffee with acharya club for discussion, alankritha club for dancing, singing, speak and spart for improving speaking skills, coding club for learning programming language, sports club for our door games and teast Master club for improving speaking skills. Toast masters from different places have visited our college to let us know about the importance of toast masters

They told that they will provide hot water at evening and morning but there is no supply of hot water. There are no lockers in our rooms, even our basic things like snacks, sanitary pads, cosmetics have been stolen. Our rooms are good but we don't have any locks for them. If we go to homes our room is open for any one. There is no difference in between normal rooms and super deluxe rooms except colour of paints, number of people staying and attached washroom. Our menu is good but mess has timings, if we exceed those timings they shout at us for coming lately. Staying in pg is far better than staying in Sanskriti hostels

I choosed this college because it is near to my town and I will be able to go early when ever needed. I had got EAMCET seat allotment at mits college but I re applied to sanskriti because it is near. But the rules are so bad. We are not allowed to go to our homes as per our needs. Parents cannot come every time to take us home. We are eligible to write exams If we have attendence above 75% . If we have attendence below 75% we have to pay 300 rupees as condonation,if it is below 65% they we get detained and have to take permission from hod, principle etc and pay 5000 rupees as fine. I have paid 300 rupees as condonation in 1 semister and 5000 rupees as fine in 2nd semister. Now I got experience through this and now i am aware of it and maintaining my attendance. I think this fine is a bit costly

Our civil department faculty are the best of my knowledge. Every faculty tries us to teach practical knowledge. there way of teaching is quite good. Exams are also held in a good manner with discipline. We are informed about the important topics required to pass our examinations. Exam pattern is 2 marks 10 questions, 10 marks 10 questions for sem exams. Mid exams are 3 5 marks questions and 20 bits for 10 marks.

At my admission I was qualified in a scholarship exam provided for free hostels,we were called for an interview but they just explain the fee structure and sent us. There were no questions asked. This scholarship was only for civil meechanical and eee students. I was qualified in exam but they didn't inform me about any scholarship so I joined in super deluxe paying 75000

Our campus timings is from 6am to 6pm for girls. We have a canteen and a shop where we can chill nd have snacks. The area around our college is a little bad. If we get out of our college we will find no transportation facilities. If we want to go out we have to leave at morning college entry or exit time. We will have autos only at that time. The road from our college to main road is in very bad condition. Nights at our college are very scary. We have to off our room lights at 8:30pm only so we are unable to study, so we have brought a study light for night studies. I any one has to enjoy ther btech life they are not recommended to this college because they have rules even strict than a school.
