My Experience at Ishan

The course is well structured is updated and relates to real life. We got to choose from different subjects offered by univerity and have different skill development subjects like yoga and correctives, computer course. Classes are organised in IT Lab also in which tally is taught by our faculty. I chose B.Com. because I was always intersted in accounts and want to go in banking field later. The exams are conducted twice a year by university and semester system is followed in our college.

The year wise fees is 42000 rupees and the registration fees was 800 rupees which was one time. The tuition fees and all other fees like development, IT lab fees were included in the same. Scholarships are available for all the students for all the categories and is provided by UP government.

My overall experience at Ishan is really good. I have attended a seminar DigiUdaya which was based on cryptocurrency, represented college in various inter college competitions after attending the workshop Vyparniti which was based on startups. I have participated in cultural events like Kshitiz which is the cultural fest of college, also in other academic events like debate competition. One great thing about college is that communication skills classes are also conducted in our college regularly which has helped me alot.

I chose Ishan Institute of Management and Technology over other colleges because it is the oldest in area and alumni of Ishan are placed in different countries. The staff is also highly professional and educated. Ishan organises a lot of cultural and academic events each year. In my experience of one year I have attended more than twenty events in the whole year which is helping me in developing my personality. I didn't applied to much colleges and admission criteria of all the colleges was same under CCSU.

In our college the faculty is highly educated with high expereince and doctrate degrees. They are friendly and approachable. The methods of teaching are really good, all are lectures are supported with powerpoint presentations and case studies fom real life and I always had good learning experience as our faculty encourages higher participation. Internals are conducted in college before the university exams. The curriculum of B.Com.(NEP) is relevant and also includes skilll development course in it.

After classes usually students leave, a lot of times night events are organised by college like freshers party, farwewell party, dandiya night celebration and other events. The place is really safe for the students living in the hostel. The college is having proper mess for the students where they can have proper meals. Library facility is available to the students from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm.
