My experience as Vidyan

This is a complete four year course. I choosed the course due to the interest in new emerging technologies. This is a well-suited course for someone having interest in real-world applications. In the course you get a chance to work on new technologies and build real world projects. The internships should also be provided to each and every student however there are many private and government opportunities for students but sometimes some students fails to avail them due to various reasons.

Vidya offers job as well as internship opportunity to the studens alongwith the stipend. Copamy visits the campus are Pie infotech, Collab hub, Shewings, Bayone solution that offers the placement opportunity to the students. They offer various job roles like project manager, marketing intern, sales executive, data analyst, software developer according to the domain and interest of the students.

The target of placement cell is to provide the job opportunity to every student seeking for placement. The company visited for placement are not very well known but they are good for proving placements around a average package of 3LPA however it can vary according to the company and the skills of students. Top students maintaining a good academic score have higher chances of getting placed with a high package.Students with CGPA 7 above can easily get the chance of being placed.

I am from Btech batch 2022-26 and my annual fee is around 108000 including the tuition fee, devleopment fee and lab fee.However if you want to opt for transport or hostel facility then there are some other charges applicable.Vidya offers 'Vidya Sukh Scholarship' based on merit and need specially for minorities, single-parent children, defense personal wards, and female students. College has well-maintained infrastructure including classrooms and labs but students face some issue regarding restrooms however the issues have been fixed. Faculties are supportive and skilled and are capable for providing guidance as per the needs of the students. Vidya organize events like Ignus,Techwiz,Code in dark and many others.College fest 'Nirvana' held in month of feb-mar every year which is the most awaiting moment for all the Vidyans. College lacks in providing placement opportunity from well recognized companies but it offers placement in some other companies and you can take placement based on your skills and knowledge. Overall Vidya provides good academics at affordable cost.

College held various technical and non technical events providing the students with the opportunity to represent them. College fest NIRVANA held in the month of feb-mar every year. Other events like ignus, techwiz, zonal also takes place increasing the engagement of students. Classrooms are maintained with proper furniture, AC and smart boards. Vidya has a separate department named VISA responsible for all the sports event held in the college it also provide the chance to participate in zonals or other off campus sports or tournaments. VISA has all the essential kits and sports equipment for various sports including badmintion, cricket, football, volleyball and many indoor games like chess, carrom and others. It also has a swimming pool inside the VISA building.

I applied for some goverment colleges but failed to take the admission because I have not given JEE exam which was not under my knowledge that time. Then I applied for Vidya and took admission easily on a first go according to my grades. In comaparison with other colleges Vidya acheives a safe place. The eligiliblity for taking admission is that the student must be of science background and have scored a minimum of 75% in their boards.

There are sufficient number of faculty provided to the students. All the faculties are good among whom I like Prof. Praveer Dhaka the most.He is communication skills trainer at Vidya. Almost each and every student like him the reason is that he is very polite and unbaised toward the students. The exams are conducted in three phases for internal and one external university exams each semester. Internal exams include Sessional 1,Sessional 2 and PUT(Pre University Test). The level of exam is intermediate and can easily scored good under rhe guidance of teachers.

Campus has three canteens and a cafeteria being the place for students to catch up after the scheduled classes or during the brake times.Vidya also has a huge ground for students. There is a cafe 'Crazy for pizza' which the most visited place of Vidyans to hangout. The locality of the college is safe for days as well as for nights.
