Course Curriculum Overview
Connecting with the students through teaching influenced my decision choose this course. The curriculum prepares me real life teaching. I'll suggest some improvement in the teaching methods by making it more real.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have paid 50,000 in the first year and 20,000 in the second year. The registration fees, admission fees, examination fees were also charged differently in different years. The students from SC category got free admission and some students got their half fees as promised by the management.
Campus Life
The college always conducted an annual program called 'Nirvana'. Library provided us the best curriculum books and other competitive books, good novels to enrich our knowledge and literature. Extracurricular activities were also organised throughout the year.
Admission
I have applied for other colleges also. But I chose VICT due to its perception, academic reputation, good staff and overall the location and atmosphere was also good. Students have to appear for the B.Ed Entrance Examination to take admission in this course. After the result, students have to take part in the counselling process and later they assigned college according to their ranks.
Faculty
There was total 100 students in the B.Ed course. We have sufficient staff to teach us, help us and they always provide all the information to us. My favourite teacher was Mrs. Kumkum Agarwal because she was the most helping teacher in the college. And today I'm still in touch with her. She always provides me the best guidance. The exams were conducted annually and the course curriculum was relevant.
Night Life
The library and cafeterias mostly opened at 10:am and closer at 2:00 pm. Our college canteen was our favourite spot for hangout after our classes. Sometimes, we go to other departments canteens to enjoy some good food.
