Course Curriculum Overview

4

Artificial intelligence and data science course has a great scope in IT field and current trend in IT field so this influence me take a decision to choose this course. AI rules all over the world and it leads and have a greater possibility to have a job so this curriculum prepares me for real world applications and further academic pursuits . The staffs need a training and coaching techniques for the improvement in the course curriculum. Our management conducts three levels of examination , in level one(low difficulty level)we have two exams (CIA-1,CIA-2)the one exam were for around 50 marks it covers first half units and another exam were for around 50 marks(1 and half hour exam) it covers last half units, in level two (medium difficulty level) we have exam were for 100 marks (model exam) it covers the whole syllabus(3hour exam) and for the level three , we have semester examination that conducted by anna university it has high difficult level comparing to other (3hour exam)

Placement Experience

4

In our college the students get placed in the companies but they don't accept their offer from the campus placement because their packages were low comparing to other colleges. For the placement process, our college have small sector and small companies with low packages. From 7th semester we are eligible for the campus placement . Name of the companies students can be visited MRF, Airtel, Vlead,RAC technology , Group Pharmaceuticals, kido, Reliance digital, Cameo, SBI life, Omega health , Rinex, TVS and more . These are the companies that the students get placed. Per company 5-20 students can get a offers . In Rinex company the students got a offer with highest package 10 LPA as a fresher. In our college 100% students getting placed in their own field some students works in the companies they get placed some were search their job with highest package and focuses on their dream . After getting my degree, I should get placed in the top company with highest package

Fees and Financial Aid

Th tuition fee for a year comes around 100000 for the management quota. The fee for my batchmate who had the government quota paid around 75000 , in the government quota some students who finished their schooling in the government school from 6-12th reserves a 7.5 quota in that case the management charges book and exam fee only . The management charges 6000 for the admission fee in the beginning of the first semester only.I received the PMSS scholarship that reserved for the SC,ST comes around 55000. The management charges 32000 for the bus fee , it differs according to the boarding point the student used to travel. For the first graduate student the government provide 25000 scholarship for the student . For the book fee ,the management charges around 6000-7000 from the students and for exam fee , it cost over 4000-5000 per year . The management charges lab fee and compulsory fee around 4000 .

Campus Life

5

The overall experience in our campus life was great they focuses on the social aspects like NSS,NCC for the social works and conduct medial camp and blood donation camp for the social works. Our college conducted the annual day named DSCET'25 in March month as college culturals .We technical festival in our as symposium on the April to may month in those times the technical fest has been conducted department wise it's more like inter College and intra college competition for the students. We have a huge library with wide range of accessibility of book in it . We have media, medical, psychological, scientifical, statistical, Pharmaceuticals, Technical, historical all types of journals available in the library. A students can run a social groups as Facebook, instagram, linked for the college development. In our college we have clubs like students council were the students can share their query about management and students facilities that has to need for the development of students career has been discussed by this club from the students side .

Admission

I choose this college over the other colleges because of the affordability and college infrastructure. Comparing to other colleges my college fee seems affordable price with decent education place for the students. I applied for meenakshi college, peri college and agni college. In meenakshi college, the management expects more than 85% cutoff. For the agni college and peri college they charges the higher prices for the tuition fee comparing to my college. In meenakshi college, I got rejected because I can't meet their requirements (should have 85% cutoff). In agni and peri college students needs to pay the donation fee around 200000 for the admission so that I couldn't make it there . In our college, the students should score 55% and above cutoff to go through the admission process. The JEE exam isn't mandatory to get admitted in our college but the cutoff marks from those exam can have a chance to get the students preferred courses. In JEE exam the students should score more than 130 cutoff marks for the admission process.

Faculty

3

Our college comes under the Anna University so the exam system works according to it. For a semester examination the students have 5-6 subject without honours courses. The honour course is for the students with no history of arrears and for the honour course the students have extra 2 subjects during semester examination. For the practical exam, the subjects were differs according to the department and theory paper they choose. 6 faculty for 180 students.the faculty-students relationship seems friendly and have a good bond with each other. I personally likes ahila mam and Shwetha singh mam , they were student friendly and intended to see the situation from the students side and students struggle. Muthuselvi mam and PR Ajitha mam were the one I personally don't like to interact and having a conversation with them because they used to degrade the students and being disrespectful unruly to the students

Night Life

4

My favourite spot , when students unwind after a day of classes was the college bus parking lot and ground usually students gather together to make a conversation that is the place were we can share our thoughts with each other and share the memories and can hangout with other department students the boys hostel have the gym in it . It was the favourite spot for our boys in the nightlife they mostly like to spend their time there . The students shouldn't go outside of the campus to hangout after 6 pm . After 3 pm some students spend their time in library upto 6 pm . Piper and brew and punjabi daabaa were the locality that safes to roam around at night . We have mahabalipuram beach and temple here for hangout with your family and friends. In canteen we can hangout upto 8 pm inside our campus.
