Exploring Opportunities and experiences at VIIT

The curriculum offered specialized subjects which are in high demand in the industry. Inclusion of hands-on labs,projects and electives.The curriculum does a decent job preparing students for both industry roles and further academic research. 2 mid exams per semester. 1 semester exam and lab assessments and assignments in between.

At VIIT, numerous internship oppurtunities are facilitated through the training and placemnet cell, collaborating with reputed companies across IT, software and engineering sectors. Many internships come with a stipend ranging from 8000 to 25000 per month, depending on the company and profile.

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester. 87% of the eligible students secured placements in the 2023-2024 academic year.After completing my B.Tech. I plan to pursue a career in the tech industry.

The year wise fees we are paying to the college is 56500. The tution fee is 52000, the library fee is 2000 and the labrotary fee is 1000.And the registration fee is 1500. There are scholarship and financial aid that are available to the students like JVD.

The college hosts major events like the annual cultural fest Yuvatarang which will be held in the month of January and technical fest Vista (around september/october), which see enthusiastic participations from students across departments.VIIT also have student-run social groups and clubs.

The colleges which I have applied are Anits,Andhra university because my rank was slightly below their cutoff for CSE.Vignan's Institue of Information technology is a reputed autonomous institution which is allotted via EAPCET.

The minimum faculty to student ratio is 1:30. Most faculty members are approachable, friendly, and supportive, especially when it comes to clearing doubts, helping with projects, and giving academic or career guidance. The course is divided into 8 semesters over 4 years. With each semester consisting minimum of 5 subjects and 2 labs.A test will be conducted every week.There will be two mid exams per semester.

The nightlife around Vignan's Institute of Information Technology (VIIT), Visakhapatnam is relatively calm, reflecting the academic and residential nature of the area. Popular hangout spots within the campus include the canteen,open lawns and seminar hall.
