- The engagement in college is very good .the best thing about the College is you just have 6 hours of college that is from 9 20 to 3 10 with 40 min of lunch break in it .so you have less stress and more time to explore your skills
- The second best thing is the grounds and sports you have separate sports clubs and you have many sports as well many games and their grounds to play all you need to do is make good friends who would play with you
- The third thing is schedule the schedule of the day is prepared in such a way that you have 2 hours of class and 3 hours of lab and vice versa this helps you to boost your skills rather than just the subject knowledge
Dislikes
- The canteens are not good as you think they are small bit clumsy and they are always full and the hygiene is also just okayish not that good in my opinion. But you have various options in size
- The library yet so big has limited books and though there are various books they are limited in size so if you want to read something in common with others you have to wait for it
- The fests/events in the college are not as Much as you think you barely have 2 events per year and Freshers for juniors and one fest that is common for all
Course Curriculum Overview
I'd rate 4.5/5 the course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensives. I'll explain why I'm a CSE student so mainly all I need is programming languages like C ,C++ , Java, JavaScript, python I have c and python in first year C++ in second year Java and JavaScript in third and fourth year respectively this helps me improve skills and and on point useful for job opportunities unlike some universities whose courses are outdated we have python and c and labs as well this influenced me alot. I learnt them and executed them in labs mastered them and even participated in hackathons related to this . So yes the curriculum is influential. The curriculum prepares you so good for real applications if you are a CSE student then all you need to do is learn and master the programming languages that are taught in the syllabus if you are good at it then you'll definitely get selected in college placements itself. There are some courses like ews / caeg which are usually not useful for CSE students so courses like that must be removed from the curriculum. Coming to frequency of exams you have one semester of 6 months you'll have exams for every 2 months and the exam difficulty is hard usually 8/10 difficulty but if you do well in mids then they are added to endsm also preparing good for mids helps you in endsem as well
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities are limited that are available in our college Mainly wipro TCS Microsoft Amazon and zentech etc companies and Central government of India oriented internships like ntpel and some merit yojanas internships give internship opportunities to our colleges they give certificates experience opportunities as well as stipend ranging from 5k to 15k in our college.
Placement Experience
campus placements from 7th semester. TCS Amazon ITC Microsoft Zelda and companies like Wipro Infotech visited our college no of offers they made were around 100. Highest package is something around 12 lpa and average is 6lpa and profiles offered were mostly Freshers. Percentage of students getting placements ranges from 30-45 percentage only My plan is to prepare for GATE get into iits/nits doing MTECH in cde majors and then going for placements
Fees and Financial Aid
Detailed fee structure The yearly fees for 2 semesters of college is 89000 Persons with TS scholarship can avail a scholarship of 35000 So they just need to pay 54000 Other than this you have JNTU fees of 6000(only for JNTU affiliated) And for library You have to pay some 500 The bus fees ranges from 15000 to 23000 Which is very less There is some lab fees as well around 2000 rupees The management quota fees is separate It varies from rank to rank The scholarship program is given by the government of Telangana and there is no such Thing called merit scholarship in our college If you fall in bpl line ( below poverty line) you are eligible for this scholarship
Campus Life
There is no ragging. The campus is so big you can roam for whole day explore it happily.social aspects depends on you if you are extrovert and do good at talking and all you have good social life and coming to clubs you have very big number of clubs such as sports club activity club singing club dancing club instrumental club so participating in them increases your interactions leading to a good social life. Infrastructure is good in labs and all and even in classrooms you might like it as well. The hackathons takes as place well. The fests are Freshers tech fest annual fest Dance fest Rythm fest etc etc sports fest as well You almost have a fest every month. The books are of various types but the quantity are less . There are many journals as well in the library. The facilities and technological provisions with in classrooms are you have fans lights projectors white screens LEDs labs computers.
Admission
The main reason why I choose this college over other colleges is this is JNTU affiliated college unlike autonomous college. Here your cgpa and degree is valued as the exams are tough and you can't score easily so getting almost 8 CGPA is also an achievement and the standards are also high. As the college is affiliated to JNTU you get a certificate from JNTU Only not from the college this is the main reason why I chose this College also the fees is less compared to autonomous colleges. All the other colleges I applied are autonomous their cut-off Is more and I was unable to make it so I chose this college this is also one of the reason. My eamcet exam didn't went good this is the reason I got to this college. The admission is of 2 types convener/ management. first is convener this is done through counselling that is eamcet counselling the cutoff rank for the college ranges from 60k to 120k so if you keep this in counselling in the given criteria you are selected the other is management irrespective of the rank you just need to pay money and you are selected in the college. I applied to kmit,ou,snist due to high cutoff I was not selected, and some other colleges were also good but as this college is JNTU affiliated I chose this. So the admission process as I said is convener and management. The eligibility exam is eamcet and polytechnic exam and the most preferred by students is eamcet only overall admission experience is good
Faculty
The best thing about the college is the college has good faculty and for every subject you have many substitutes of lectures in case if one is unable to take it . The other one takes it They are highly qualified and are good in both English and Telugu. They help students and also behave well with them. There are many courses in college for example CSE CSM CSD CSO IT CYBER SECURITY ECE EEE AND CORE SUBJECTS LIKE mechanical engineering and civil engineering as well . As usual you have 2 mid exams and average is taken of them for 40 and these 40 are added to your endsem exam of 100 marks . 60 is endsem marks 40 is midsem marks . The exams are conducted by JNTU and centres are in different colleges. Mid and lab exams are conducted in the college itself. In mids if you prepare well and write well you are mostly given full marks only. The faculty and student ratio is 1:30 they are approachable make good relations with children. All the maths faculties are good. My fav is Swathi mam she teaches chemistry. I personally never hated any faculties Exams are 3 Mid sem 1 Mid sem 2 End SEM They are so difficult Difficulty 8/10 Only 25 percent people pass JNTU exams Course is highly relevant to the curriculum
Interview Experience
Yes usually they test your skills mainly English and communication skills during the Intake process they are normal basic questions. Nothing to worry much it is sort of interview type only there is no written test for admission I think as far I know only by counselling itself of eamcet exam you get into the college. The topics of group discussion were about pros and cons of CSE and technology for me . The interview questions are regarding the course only . The process of admission is eamcet and also polytechnic exams as well you've to get cut-off marks in order to get to the college. The other criteria doesn't exist. I didn't prepare anything I gave it normally with out any preparation
Night Life
Basically the night life is good the campus Is full of trees and open areas to sit in 125 acres you can sit anywhere and chill . The favourite hang out spots are under neem tree and cafeteria. You can play games with friends mainly indoor things during nights.
Other Applied Colleges
