BBA Journey Real Learning Beyond the Classroom

When I was choosing my course, one of the main reasons I picked BBA. I liked that it covered a wide range of subjects — from business management and marketing to finance, HR, and entrepreneurship. In terms of exams, we usually have two internals and one final exam per semester. There are occasional quizzes, but some subjects, like Business Law or Economics, can be a bit tricky if you don’t prepare well.

In our college, students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onwards. That’s when the placement cell starts shortlisting students, arranging pre-placement talks, and preparing us for interviews with mock tests and resume-building sessions. Some of the companies that have visited our campus recently include: Wipro, TCS, HDFC. The highest package offered in the last placement season was around 8 LPA.The average package is around 3–4 LPA Around 70–80% of BBA students get placed if they actively participate in the placement process. After completing my BBA, I plan to prepare for an MBA from a reputed institute. I want to specialise in either Marketing or Business Analytics.

When I was applying for colleges, I had a few options in mind. One of the main colleges I applied to apart from my current one was Chandigarh University (CU). I even got shortlisted there, but honestly, I didn’t go ahead with admission because the fees were too high and I felt the overall cost of living and studying there was not affordable for me and my family. It looked like a good university, but it didn’t feel worth the pressure financially.The basic eligibility is passing Class 12th (any stream) with at least 50% marks.For BBA, there’s no national-level exam required.

Honestly, the faculty-to-student ratio in our college is quite decent. Classes aren’t overcrowded. we usually have one internals and one final exam every semester. Plus, there are small tests or assignments in between.

Gym available for hostellers during the daytime only. Two canteens are open during college hours, generally 9:30 AM to 3:20 PM. library open during daytime hours for academic use. public area like the play area and TV room (for hostellers), these are accessible 4 am to 10pm.
