Life at BDU

Actually Life Sciences Covers everything - Plant Science, Animal Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics..... and chemistry, physics, maths etc... At 4th sem we get to choose our specialization.

The starting fee is avg 20k then it keeps on decreasing per semester. Reserved Castes dont need to pay the tution fee. there are scolarships according to reservation, then for girls there is a scheme and some endowments too.

There are BDU - Fest, Freshers and farewell and pongal celebration.... We have our own department library which has lots of useful books for reference. Along with these there is NCC and NSS for students to join.

In Hostel according to me food is pretty average as they are cooking for a large number of students staying over here. But to be honest hostel is pretty affordable for everyone. The rooms are usually okay.

I applied for other universities, but they didnt have integrated programmes and was a bit expensive compared to here. here i was selected based on my 12th marks in offline counseling. So I finally ended up here to pursue my studies.

Faculties are usually friendly and easily approchable to the students here. We have 3 internals then the final sem exam. Exams are usually in average level. The pattern changes according to the subject.

There is a canteen and a shed (which we call it pentagon due to its shape) to sit and chit chat, there are lots of stone benches under trees. Usually we hangout in garden library and sometimes nearby tree shade. In entrance we have some shops to chill out.
