College review

I choose computer science because of my parents. Our college defenately focusing on programming and our staff is also exellent but there is one problem with the university syllabus. Web development subject should be in first year or in second year but as per university syllabus we are learning it in second sem of third year that should be changed.

Our college provide number of internship opportunities. They are online and offline both also provide japanese lectures. College provide internship opportunities from fifth semister. some of the companies are BNY,Gradious, ptc etc.

Our college provides more than 150 companies. From VI th semister students are eligible for campus placements and internship opportunities. For our department highest package is 7lpa. Till now PTC, BNY, Milkey etc companies visited for our batch for internship.

Fees for college are same for me till this year. And they provide scholarships also. For me as per the scholarship I have to pay half of the college fee but exam fee is upto 10k or sometimes more than that and hostel fee is increasing per year. Also I have to pay for the lab mannuls its fees are also upto 500 and I have to take prints of all the experiments that also take much money. Our mess does't provide nasta so I have to take it from canteen which is also paid. For sc category students college fee is absolutely free but not for others.

My overall experience about college is really good. Every year our college organise Carnival and sports events. There are many clubs in our college and I am president of IEI Club. Our classrooms are also well equiped.

Hostel and mess facilities are also good but there is no cold water for drinking in hostel. There are two mess and it depends on students where they want to have lunch and both are good but they dont provide breakfast at morning.

I choose SKN Sinhgad College because this is the best college among all colleges in solapur district it is very close to our house. i applied for many colleges but I gave first preference to this college so I selected in 1st round.

Our faculties are really exellent. They are very clever , co-operative and their approach is really good. Our faculty members are friendly with us sometimes we get irritated when they give 2-3 assignments at time but they are really good. Specially my favourite one is Koli sir he is very clever, he never stress students for anything, his teaching style is really good we doesn't need to give more time for studying his subjest because after every 2nd or 3rd lecture he takes revision of whole syllabus by giving real world applications. Last sem he tought us android development and this year he is teaching us Cloud computing.

Our campus surrounding is safe for girls to hangout, because guards are there at every place. Daily main gate timing for girls is till 7pm and for sunday it's 8:30pm for boys it's 10pm. hostel timing for girls is 9pm. Library is open for girls till 11pm and those girls who are in library thay need to make signature on library register and guards take attendace.
