Course Curriculum Overview

5

I wanted to be a professional doctor so I chose MBBS. The exams are lengthy and easy, You have to write for 100 marks in 3 hours and it is very tiring. The curriculum of MBBS prepares you well for emergency conditions and life aspects.

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship opportunities available here are not much known by me as I am a second year student. But there are many interns of different college and some of outside India as well in our hospitals. The stipend are different as per your experience and year.

Fees and Financial Aid

As per- Rs.10,0000 Caution money-50,0000 Scholarship available - medhavi chatra yojna, Post metric The college fees may increase as per the guidelines of MPMSU university. NRI- As per the requirement the NRi fees are variable

Campus Life

4

There are numerous annual or technical festivals conducted in our college by the authorities. We have started to conduct some festivals by the students only. The library is good there are decent amount of course books available and they are free to use once you get your library card. The area no as such facilities in our college classrooms but they are technologically well equipped with the required equipments. There are no sports conducted but we include them in the festival celebration itself.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel facilities are very good. The authorities take good care of our safety. If you want you can have your personal cooler, inductions or any other electrical appliances other than AC and washing machine, that too without any extra electricity bill or miscellaneous fees. If you want to get a hostel alloted you can apply for it at the time of admission only. And when you shift here the room will be alloted to your as soon as you reach here. The localities to live in rented appartments are a little far from here. You are also allowed for any vehicles if you want to have. The parents can come and visit you whenever they want to. The food of mess is also available by a price/per plate.

Admission

I applied for other medical College as well but couldn't get admission in them because of my NEET score. The other colleges NEET score criteria was a bit higher from my score. The other colleges I applied for was much better than this as they were government medical colleges. And I didn't applied for other private colleges as there fees was very high and they were not affordable for me. The admission process of our college is as follows- First you you take the NEET exam conducted by NTA. Then after the results are out . On the basis of your score, you apply for online counselling conducted by NTA . Then you are alloted a college on your score. And then you have to reach the college before a fixed period of time. And submit your documents and pay. The fees of first year then and there And after that when your admission is confirmed if you want to opt for a different college you can apply in the next round of counselling. And then if you are alloted a different college , the same procedure is repeated there as well, and if not your admission is confirmed in the first college itself

Faculty

4

The college has good qualified faculties. The practical laboratories and other facilities are also good. There is availability of bodies for dissection practice. There is enough patient load for students to get patient exposure. The exams are conducted timely with proper schedule. There are three exams other then final professional exams. Two internal sessional exams and 1 pre- university exams.

Night Life

2

There is no such night life in our college campus. We have time limit rules in our hostels so we can not be seen outside hostel after that. There is gym available free to use in the boys hostel. There is a canteen, laundary and other places to sit and hangout with your friends. There are so many hangouts places in bhopal outside our campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS course curriculum is quite comprehensive and well-structured, covering all the essential aspects of medical science needed for both academic growth and clinical practice. The inclusion of subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry in the first year builds a strong foundation for understanding the human body and disease mechanisms. The curriculum is relevant as it gradually progresses from basic to clinical subjects, preparing students for real-world medical applications and patient care. Teaching methods such as interactive lectures, practical sessions, dissections, and clinical demonstrations make learning more engaging and concept-based. However, more emphasis on integrated teaching, case-based discussions, and exposure to real clinical settings from the early years would further enhance understanding and application. The frequency and timing of exams are generally well-planned, but sometimes the schedule can feel packed, leaving limited time for conceptual revision. Overall, the curriculum is highly relevant and effective, though incorporating more modern teaching methods, simulation-based learning, and periodic skill assessments could make it even better suited for today’s medical challenges.
