Course Curriculum Overview

Specific aspect of the curriculum is ,in the modern world the technology is improving day by day.An engineer has a knowledge to invent and innovate new things.So i prefered this course.The curriculum teach us to how to interact with the real world applications and modern updates.

Class Size: 1000Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I am paying academic fees is 75000 and I am getting 25000 rupees as first graduate.It will be paid directly to the college management.And then my transportation fees is 9000 and the remaining tution fees is 50000.My batchmates who studied in tamilnadu govt school and got 75 percentage marks in public examinations, the tamilnadu govt is paying their fees.And we are paying exam fees as per the subjects.For one subject we pay 150 rupees.SC,ST students also getting their pmms scholarship amount from the govt as scholarship.

Campus Life

Symposiums and cultural activities are held in every year. In the library,it have good accessibility of books , journals and newspapers.In culturals sports day also conducted and prizes also provided for the winning teams.

Admission

As comparing with the other colleges MCE provide good placements and they have good transportation to the nearby districts.This is anna university affiliated college so I got seat by the counseling process.The admission can be got by cutoffs.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is good.And the approaches of the staffs is friendly with the students.My favourite faculty is Mrs.Priya .She is my class advisor and she is a good teacher to interact with the students and encourage us in many situations.The exams are held 3 parts like CIA 1 ,CIA 2 and Model test.It helps to recall the subject contents.

Night Life

Cafeterias are maintained properly and variety of foods are served healthily.Gym is provided for the hostel students.Campus in time is before 9:15am and out time is 4:30 pm.Our college is just 2km away from the Rasipuram busstand and there are Arts and science and polytechnic colleges are nearby the campus.Nightlife is also safe to around the campus.

Placement Experience:

top tech companies will come to our campus for replacement some of them are Amazon, JP Morgan, TCS, cognizant according to our skill level, they will choose before applying for any company. And the average placement they offer is 7-10 LPA. You should pass some exams in our college, which is held by our placement cell, so those are pretty much annoying nearly 10 exams they will put just for applying for each company.

Good college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculums are good (it depends on depts) and they are updated and new electives/ cbcs are added thus updating curriculum and there are subject with heavy lab which don't have end sem instead lab and only internal which is not what other colleges have. they also have open book test for subjcts like programming languge so students can focus on learning the language instaed of memorizing. however as we are batch of a new regulation we are not aware of kind of questions that would come. however forthcoming batches won't be having this issue. unlike other collges only 2 internal exams and 1 semester is conducted. both the internal is given equal weightage ( having unit 1&2 and 3&4 for each exams) and retest is also conducted for internal however even if one exam not written they need to write all 4 unit incase of health issues etc. 50% internal and 50% external. so if having good internal can easlity score well in total. However if one fails to secure internal then passing the subject becomes very hard. Core subjects however prepares well for real-world. however i feel curriculums should be slightly revised so that students learn everyhting systematically instead of memorizing. Good internships

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester, if you have required skill sets you can go for internships and placements. There are more than 600 companies that include Tata, Mahindra, Google, Deloitte and many more. Highest package was of 1.2 crores and average package is 8 -9 lakhs. I don't have the exact statistical data but yaa more than 70% students get placed. I am looking for a high pay job after getting the degree

MY COLLEYE LIFE

Placement Experience:

They start conducting interviews after completing the 6th semester. At least 6 companies come for the campus placement like tech Mahendra, TCS, and manufacturing companies like sakthi auto-complete, tata motors, etc. They placed a minimum of 150000 per aum. The percentage of students getting placements is 30%. Get a job in a reputed company.

Review about MCE

The admission process is based on the TNEA Counselling process. The students having specific engineering cutoffs basically from 120 to 170 can get admission in this college via the TNEA counselling process. I selected this college in Counselling because this college has good teachers and good placement records. I did not applied to any other colleges.But I was expecting to get admission in Government Engineering college, Salem. Unfortunately my cutoffs is not enough to get admission there....Read More
