Likes
- This is 1st autonomous college in Kanpur, benefit is that you only need to study your respective branch subject .like i only study MATHS and physics which is benificial if you want to pursue higher studies and want to prepare for GATE.
- campus life average .in my branch u all know EC is core branch only 5 girls are their but in other branch like CS have good girls:boys ratio
- infrastructure is good placement is on avg around 3 lpa mostly startup companies. Professor are quite supportive of my branch.
Dislikes
- I personaly disliked exams mainly FA is conducting 1 time in 2 week after completing every unit.
Course Curriculum Overview
course curriculum is based on industries basis for upcoming years like india is shifting towards fuel to battery course is oriented towards GATE as well. difficulty level is 3 out of five . MATLAB was include exams are frequent 1 in every 2 week and SA at the end of semester
Internships Opportunities
internship was not provided by college .you have to go through off campus for internship. like recently a student got indudtrial training &internship program in WIPRO not as much internship from the campus .
Placement Experience
from 7th semester as when under AKTU.But now after 2nd year if u take a good internship or a job in ur 3rd year you may ask them for noc . on campus placement is of 3-4 lpa mostly startup companies.There is separate placement cell . I want to go for higher studies and go for ISRO and ONGC . COMPANIES like HL agro ,Orient cables,Rts,Aviotron Aerospace
Fees and Financial Aid
65000/ yearly and additional 7500/ AKTU examination fees .It may be increase year by year .No caution money will be taken . No extra money will be taken No categories wise fees ,all catageories should pay same fees UP scholarship will we provided for up domicile students.
Campus Life
Every year induction program conducted name SRIJAN fresher party name UDHBHAV and a tech fest ENGENIOUS campus life is good . library is good had a collection of book related to al branch u dont need to buy from outside . there are many extracurricular activities is done in college campus or also outside campus
Admission
Nothing special but i score low percentile in jee .movings towards metropolitian cities is higher in cost like in delhi ,bengaluru. this is a good option for those who go for higher studies and less budget.LIKE none any college assure yo placement you have enough time to make yourself industry ready. you enhance your skill explore other field . You can get this college through jeemain as wll as direct . this is better than colleges present near me . if u want a strict college than move towards other than this
Faculty
overall considering btech their are 75 faculty +lab assistants.All are good except some .. In my the faculty name Rkp who taught us electrical engineering which is best faculty he his here from starting of college and MATHS faculty studied from nsut he is also nice man exams are easy if u study on avg daily basis 2hr all putting in front of us in very crisp way
Interview Experience
No gd is required .if u are not coming from counselling then u also directly join and if u have jee markshee u will get 5000 instant discount on fees .just u have to came and apply for the course u want
Night Life
GYM was opened recently not as much eqipments one canteen and one ice-cream parlour is inside the campus which close at 6pm evening campus is of 30acres only not as much as spots but good . Nh-2 is passes near the colleges . students are only allowed to walk in campus till 10pm.
