Course Curriculum Overview

5

Artificial Intelligence and Data Science has a sudden peak these years which motived me to choose this department. Since RIT is an autonomous college, there is less difficulty of exams than the Anna University question paper

Internships Opportunities

4

There are various internship opportunities provided for students after completing the fourth semester. Some of the companies include Kumaran Technologies, etc.. Some students also got internships from Amazon and got placed there .

Placement Experience

4

Students are getting placed in on-campus interviews. The average salary package is 4LPA. However this varies every year according to the knowledge of students. RIT conducts summer and winter camps to enhance student's aptitude skills and programming skills.

Fees and Financial Aid

RIT charges 50,000 as tuition fee and a minimum of one lakh for lab development and other activities. Scholarship is available based on the cut-off marks obtained from the 12th grade. 7.5 quota students can also avail scholarship

Campus Life

5

There are almost 20 clubs in RIT like Nippon, Rotaract, YUVA, etc.. Each club conducts various events and acts according to the scenario of the real-time. A special importance is given to the students engaging in sports and also got prizes.

Hostel Facilities

3

The boys hostel is nearly 12 km away from the campus and takes almost 40 minutes to reach. Food menu is quite good. I just rate 3/5 for hostel since there is no attached bathrooms and need to stand in queue on morning for getting ready to college.

Admission

I got RIT through TNEA counselling and I also listed some other colleges like SEC, REC, etc.. The cut-off marks vary every year and also depends upon the departments. For example a student needs to have a minimum of 185 cut-off out of 200 to get AI& DS department according to 2023.

Faculty

4

Faculties in RIT are well educated and makes students understand better. There are three internal exams per semester which constitutes about 40 percent of our final semester mark for each subject. Every semester has a set of subjects with a minimum of 22 credits .

Interview Experience

4

There is no entrance exam for getting admission into RIT. Just your cut-off marks is enough for getting admission. TNEA counselling helps Tamil Nadu students to get colleges and departments based on their cut-off marks.

Night Life

3

There is a canteen in RIT. Gyms are available in boys hostel which helps students to maintain their fitness. The library in RIT has variety of books for refering in case of doubts in the core subjects. Boys staying in hostel must be returned on or before 7pm

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum behind or campus is very much updated and it is changing as the technology changes. As the present world is engaging with computer and artificial intelligence,I want to improve more knowledge and also want to compete with others. The time table and the devlopment technology followed by our university is devoloped so that only placement are recorded with high percentage when compared to other. The improvement should be observed only regarding labs.We have write examination for every 30 or 40 days , because there are 3 internal test ,semester and lab exams.Actually time is not sufficient but we have to do hardwork.when compared to other universities or colleges our exams arebwry hard.
