My college review

I was very much encouraged about knowing how companies and buisness culture work .so there were many major aspects in my course where I can get those knowledge. All the carriculam activities and studies really helped me to understand the professional work culture and systems. I was able to manage human resource management and marketing management after completed my course. There are many area where course carriculam should be updated. If teachers can show some more practical work situation, analogy, some more presentation and theory which are currently relevant in every professional culture. Then it would have been much more impactful for students. And the frequency and timings were good enough to have a preparation for exams , good enough for nurture and revision to deal with any level of difficulty .

The total yearly fees which I paid was 1lac 40 thousand rupees. And within that 30thousand rs was the admition fees ,caustion fees was 3thousand rs there was no registration and tution fees .I had to pay all my fees under installation which was 10000rs per three months. And the fees of my other batchmates were 1lac 60 thousand rs for BCA candidates and 2lac 10thousand rs for hotel management candidates as there were from different streams . And finally there were no scholarship or financial aid available in my college.

There were few festivals which held in my college ,the first one is Saraswati Puja which held in February. And othere there was an annual sports activity arranged in the time of November month and it goes for one week . It includes many types of sports like football, badminton, carrom board . The range and accessibility of books in the library was not very effective. There was a problem of shortages of book and limited books were available. Facilities and technologies were also there but only for a limited time. The sports activities and extracurricular activities were very good and impactful. There were many options. And the environment was always nice.you can just engage in those sports activities during the breaks and lunchtime. Talking about social groups and clubs were also very active. There were mostly fun and gossips .it really impacted to students life sometimes.

I have applied future college in Kolkata and got a confirmed admission form.but I chose IHRM college because of the annual fees , environment and behaviours of the teachers. there presentation skills were so good . I didn't apply too many colleges . And in whatever colleges i applied i didn't get rejected. It's just i didn't feel a good atmosphere. The admission process was under instalment process .i have to divide my whole annual fees into half quarter basis. That's basically pay after 3 months gaps . And the eligibility was that you have to come from arts or commerce background, thats it . overall i really had a good time there during my admission.

The faculties were really good towards students relationship .but they were only few members who were really attentive and engaged with students problems and situations. I mostly like the faculties form BCA they spent most of the time in library when they have no class or activities to attend. There were total 6 semester . And every year they conducted 2 semester after 6 months time gap. The exam were sometimes difficult and sometimes hard but it was not that hard in most of the time. most students would pass the exam and only 5 - 7 students out of 60 students would fail . The course carriculam were very much relevant and useful for professional work culture.

Topics of GD was so basic . I was basically asked about my educational background, my college experience and learnings. First interviewer asked me about my college experience then they asked me about my skills and hobbies. They wanted to know about my willingness for join the company. And why I wanted to do this job . So basically i have to researched almost everything about the company before giving the interview. And for the test I had been improving my knowledge from books and and internet. So i was very much prepared for the questions and test .

Yes. People were always hangout with their friends and classmates in night or evening time.there were many cafeteria we mostly visits there . There was no gym nearby my hostel .After 10 pm every restaurant and cafeteria closed off. In my hostel there were many of my classmates staying together. We usually manage to do everything together like college projects, exam preparations. There were many places we used to visit.but our favourite places were a cafeteria where we would spend most time out of college. And inside of college we mostly spend our times in the classrooms where there was no class to attend. And there were many places which was safe for roaming specially alone like you can roam around the main road where many shops and students lives there .but there were places like in front of our college ,the area and the thin roads which were not safe to walk around alone in night .
