Entrance Preview
I have gone through AIEEE entrance exam. In which i have around 60 marks which results in around 2 lakhs in rank ,so i opted engineering from this college. At first i have gone through interview session in which several questions were asked regaring why engineering and why this college etc.
Course Curriculum Overview
My college have been running since 2000. Well established and well controlled by the authorities. A large group of faculties were involved in teaching who are well educated most of them were M.tech.
Internships Opportunities
Actually i did not get intern from my college. There were no any stipend. Most of the student were doing intern from outside because our college did not have facilities of getting intern with stipend. And there did not exist any famous company from where we intern our self. So all of my batch who were in their final year had to move outside and roam companies to companies for their internship.
Placement Experience
In our batch almost 60% students were placed in campus recruitment. Company like SYNTEL,TCS,QA infotech,WIPRO etc. Visited campus that year. As per the name and fame their packages reduces as TCS gave us a package of 3.2L and SYNTEL gave us 3.5Lac.
College Events
My college have been celebrating annual day each year. The events goes around for 5 days each days is meant for a specific day weather it is sports,cultural,technical and management festival. During technical festival students from all the branches takes part in the event. Every branch has their course related event.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As compared to the other colleges i found that VIT has nominal fee structure. In our time they were taking 80000 per year which including our academic fees and all the exams fee.
Fees and Financial Aid
For the same state student they were providing with UPTU scholarship according to the government norms. There were not any scholarship for outside the state candidate.
Exam Structure
In a year we have 2 semesters so total includes 8 semesters. Each semester includes 3 sessional exams make us busy with the academics. In addition to that we have daily one lab for different subjects.
