My college

Many restrictions will cause irritation among students though it is made for the students welfare. Canteen service and canteen infrastructure is not good. It is not for enjoyment and there are lots of rules. Dispite of this rest everything is bit ok.

About my course I am satisfied for opting this course. Taxation is the field where you will have many opportunities and paths. Curriculum is going good and now I entered into 3rd year. Faculties have made the things easier to understand so I felt I opted for good and bestest option.

Our college will not provide any internship but the student himself has to find a internship with his own capabilities. This kind of internship carries marks and carries credit to academics. And it helps in future to attend any interview and to look for any internship.

Amrita University is well known for placements. many of them will join for the purpose of placement offers. Many companies will be coming for selecting students. All the companies are highly reputed and they are having high value in the market. Based on our performance and skills the management will support us to get in.

There are many events which we celebrate in our college. The events like * college day * Ethnic day * Krishna Janmashtami * Kannada rajyostava * College fest- antarprerana etc. All these events are celebrated grandly with much limitations and rules. Most of all the events we celebrate during evening time.

Fee structure is not much expensive but a bit feasible. Fee structure depends on the course we opt. Each course will have different fee structure. And fee concession will be given for thouse who have scored above 80% in their +2 classes. This concession is applicable only in 1st year fees. Along with tution fees a separate charges will be charged in 1st admission for uniform and blazers.

All government approved scholarships are offered here. Some of the scholarships are vidyasiri, vidyasarathi etc. We can apply for the scholarships and then we have to give form to office for approval and for further procedures. As we know scholarship is given based on merit, caste etc so the amount may vary from one & another. I don't have any clear idea about loan facility.

Our college gives equal importance to extracurricular activities. Sports being conducted frequently. Inter campus events or compitations, interclass compitations etc. will be conducted. In this college there is a facility of basketball ground, football court, badminton court, jym etc. Where students can make use of it. Talking about labs, here we have advanced specious lab structure. Each student will be provided with a seperate desktop for his learning and practicing. Lab advisors will be alloted for resolving issues. As seperate desktop is provided to each student it helps them to learn effectively.

Hostel infrastructure is good but not better. There is separate buildings for girls and boys each of them are far away & for food purpose a mess is available and every student can have food there. No seperate mess for boys and girls. For a fresh joiner it's very difficult to adjust with the hostel food. So it's better to think before joining to hostel. And certain rules must have to be followed.

Yup they are helpful if we have contact with any alumini or any seniors. They give us their experience and suggestions, this helps us to choose right path and we can know how to be in the college. We can also get ideas about how to score more marks. They help us to know about placement and procedures of placement. If we have contact with seniors or alumini they are helpful.

Exam structure differes from other colleges. Our college is an autonomous college so there will be different exam structure. Here, 50marks will be from internals & 50marks will be in our hand by writting end sem exam. Internal marks will be calculated based on assignments, presentations, continuous evaluation process, class test & also with 2 periodicals. Remaining 50 marks will be allotted by seeing end sem marks. End sem will be for 100 marks later which will be reduced for 50 marks.

Firstly I bought application form and filled it. Later I submitted it to office along with necessary documents. After verification is finished they will approve my admission and they give all the information about course and curriculum activities. They gives us an unique student ID and password where we can access to our account and we can check the marks, grades, etc.

Here faculties are very much experienced and has great knowledge about their subject. Along with this there are some freshers who needs some more experience in this field. Faculties will not only teach the subject but also they gives us guidance about career and they keeps informing us about updated things.
