Review about my college

The college is quite a place to be explored. You will learn the various aspects of life during your course time. You can learn the hurdles of life. This college will make you a perfect professional individual. The faculties will inspire you in every way possible.

The course curriculum is quite vast with all the medical subjects along with primary subjects related like Electrotheray , exercise therapy, Biomechanics. The basics of physical therapy is studied in the first year along with Anatomy , Physiology and Biochemistry as medical subjects. After that Biomechanics, Pharmacology, pathology, Community Medicine, Medicine , Surgery and CPT in 2nd year, Neurology, orthopaedics in third year respectively. Neurology & Neurosurgery, Neuro-Physiotherapy, Community-Based Rehabilitation Supervised Rotatory Clinical Training in 4th year positively. 6 months compulsory internship.

Yes the college provide internship during the last 6 months which is the compulsory internship period. The stipend provided is 12000 per month. In every 1 or 2 year they increase the stipend by 2000 to 3000.

Placements and job opportunities are quite good as a reputed and a well recognized institute. Many companies visit like ALIMCO, OTTOBOCK,etc. every year. Almost every student is placed in either govt or pvt hositals , clinics, etc.

The events that are celebrated in the college are Ganesh puja, Saraswati puja, Diwali, Holi with matka, Freshers party, farewell party, New year celebrations, picnic party. Every event is open for students from all years.

Fee structure is quite feasible as a central government institution. It may be 40000 during the first year including college fee and hostel fees. From second year onwards it will be 27000 or 36000. Loan facility is easily available for our college. Moreover scholarship is available to almost every student.

About scholarship the college provides free education to the SC and ST students along with a laptop. Most students apply for scholarships through their state or by NSP, scholarships like Meritious scholarship, category scholarship, central institution scholarships are availed by the students.

Extracurricular activities like footbaall, cricket, basketball, TT are played by the students during leisure time. Also the hospital is open for us and we can anytime go to clinicals and see or treat patients. The playground is quite big and is maintained very well. Annual sports is conducted and many big sports personalities are invited for inaguration.

Hostel infrastructure is average as we can say due to various factors. As a government hostel maintenance is not upto that mark. Every year there is renovation. Good sanitation and drinking water available. Bathrooms English style and Indian both are available. 24 hour water. A greeny environment with tress surrounding the hostel.

There is an Alumni forum wherr we can find all the senior and alumnous of our college. Every year they held a alumni meeting in the institute and conducts cultural program. They can be helpful in many ways from guidance to a job. Even we can consult them. Some are in high posts with the ministry.

Exam structure is semester system. For a year two semesters are conducted. If one gets he have to wait again for the semester to get conducted in the next year. Semester system is quite hectic as you need to complete a vast syllabus in 5 month interval.

For admission in the college we need to appear for an entrance examination which is usually conduct by the Institute in the month of July. The form fillup starts in April. The entrance is for admission into BPT, BOT and BPO in three institution of same kind. After you were selected in the entrance exam you will be called for the counselling where admission is done. Randomly counselling happens in either any of the institute. Mine happened in here itself. The other colleges are National Institute of Locomotor Disability in Kolkata and National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities in Chennai respectively.

The faculties are very talented and are almost renowned in every part of the country. The year old experience and the exposure they provide is very helpful for us. And by teaching they taught us with everything. Most faculties are award winners, some are president award winners and some are honoured with innovation and development awards.
