Khalsa college

I only have positive remarks for my college. My journey of this college is of 4 years and in that 4 years we have very much to learn. Also from study point of view and from learning point of view I think this college is no. 1 in amritsar

Food technology course is very interesting course. Whole faculty put their efforts to make students concept easy and understood. Also the syllabus maintained is according to semesters and years class tests are regularly being conducted

No this college doesn't provide that much of internship. But it provide training of 4 months in the end of 3rd year. Some training companies provide stipend also depending upon their requirement. Faculty also make sure that all the students get training in reputated companies

Khalsa college gave lot of job opportunities in every department. Manily in fod science department companies didn't come but any kind of job opportunities like FSSAI. They sent mail to our teachers and further teacher will provide information to students

Seminars are regularly being conducted in our department about different topics. Also other activities like quiz competition co circular activities also conducted regularly. In contact with whole college youth fest also being conducted

Our fee structure is very much feasible. Fee is given in 2 installments in which first installment is of 35000 and 2nd one is 15000 some kind of discount Is also given to scheduled cast and other lower cast students

Loan facility is given in khalsa college any scheduled cast or schedule tribe people get some kind of loan to pay their admission fee also those students who participated in any kind of activities in college also get some discount in fee

There is very much extra curricular activities in khalsa college every year one youth fest or inter department competition called RAUNAK is being conducted. Almunia meet is also conducted every year sports day is also being celebrated very gracefully

Hostel infrastructure is also very good. Our warden mam is also very helpful. Whenever any student want any kind of medical help or any other help from mam she is always there. Everyday at 6 PM all the hostel girls are gather together for every day attendance

Senior students are very much helpful any kind of ragging is strictly prohibited in this college. If any student found doing ragging strict action is being taken against that student. There is very friendly bond between seniors and juniors

There is exmz after every 6 months and in between there is house test being conducted. And 10% Marks of house test will be added in final Marks. Particularly in our department final exm contain 8 questions in which we have to attempt 5 questions consist of 8 Mark's each it means final exm is of 40 marks

First of all there is entrance exm in my field in the month of July then after few days counselling is done where students get to know that If they get seat or not and by luck if student got seat then he/she may proceed for admission fee. Hostel facilities is also available in this college

As I said above faculty is very good. Our head of department will make sure that whole department is well furnished. Suitable instruments were always in lab.all the teachers understand every doubt of student and try to make it clear
