BJMC Pune..dream of many

Since this field of Medical science is so huge and the get to know many more different things in this field I personally chose this field because I was so excited to study the biology and also want to explore more of a human body and various mechanism that assure the living. The medical curriculum teachers us how to be a good doctor and to treat patients responsibly. This course teaches humanity and enhances our communication skills, empathy as well as sympathy towards others. Also there are various field like researchase extra curriculars present along with academics to which we can enhance our other skills as well. So the frequency of exams is like we have our internal assessment exam with a gap of about 3 to 4 months in between and at the end of the year the have our main University exams.

Since I am a new student here so I don't know much about the internship program but from the seniors I got to know that after our 4 years of study they have to do the internship in the sassoon general hospital for 1 year.

Year wise fees I paid is 14607 rupees since Im a female student with parents annual income of less than 800000. Here are the fees details- Development fees 5000 Admission fees 1500 Library deposit 2000 Gymkhana fees 500 Library fees 1000 University related fees 3810 Amartya Shiksha insurance 797 That totals about 14607. And the students of SC ST OBC VJNT and girls only 14607 this much amount. However for open category, the additional tuition fee is 138300. For ACBC and EWS category the additional tuition fees 69150. No that along with this tuition fees ,14607 have to be paid. The scholarship program is mahadbt.

We have many more fests that occur on annual basis among that some are Vedant,jaamadi that is jagtik Marathi diwas. Also library have many more books to read including many standard books that as a student we don't read on the regular basis and also can't afford. This books are available in the library very easily.

Since I am leaving in a government hostel so I have to pay about 4000 per year as a hostel fees. We have a room share between three girls. Our rooms are well ventilated and also we have three beds and two cupboards and a table and chair in each room. We have very good toilet and bathroom facilities. Also we get to drink purified water.

After giving my neet examination I applied for other colleges like AIIMS but didn't got selected into the AIIMS Nagpur due to the huge cut off of my category. Then I wanted to live and study with in Maharashtra only so I decided to take admission in BJMC Pune since this college is very glorious .

Okay so the staff is also so huge like that there are so many teachers and also the topics are much more precisely distributed. Also the faculties are so friendly towards the students and we feel so free to talk to them be it related to the academics or any personal problems. I personally like all my faculties but looking for the most favourite one is Dr Anil Waghmare sir and Dr Tejaswini Sonavane mam. Also I didn't dislike anyone of them. Moving towards the exam pattern, basically there are first internal and second internal assessments after that we have our prelims after which we have to appear for the main University exam which is in the September this year. So in a first internal assessment exam which is of total 600 marks there are 200 marks each for anatomy physiology and biochemistry respectively. In this 200 marks 100 is for theory exam and 100 is for practicals.

No there was not a group discussion nor any interview but we had councelling through which we took admission in college. For admission we need to be within the sufficient marks according to the category.this totally depend on our neet score .

Since I am a hostelite, the life present over here is quite different from that of the local students. Living among the friends is such a blessing but sometimes we also feel low being far from our family. Since I am in a girl hostel at night we have a in time about at 9:30 p.m. so we don't Rome around at night and also it's not safe.
