An emerging B-school

The course curriculum provides holistic knowledge about the management education. Right from the basics to the advanced learning courses, the curriculum emphasizes on practical learning through case based pedagogy. The guest lectures from the industry experts provide some wonderful insights about the practical world. At the end of the day, the student feels confident and industry ready.

The Summer Internship Program is a mandatory 8 - week program. It has 12 credits which is equivalent to at least 4 subjects. The marking system is based on continuous evaluation and there is an assistance from the in-house faculty mentor and company managers. The internships are offered as per the specialization. Most of the internships are paid and the stipend offered is on the rising side every year. The average stipend offered is almost being doubled every year.

Right from the first day, the college makes it clear in the minds of the students that college is only responsible for creating opportunities and the ones should be on the student to convert the opportunity. Though we did not strike 100 percent placement so far in our 4 year journey, we crossed 90% every time. The number of companies visiting the college have been increased. It also attracted many top league companies. The compensation has increased at least 10 percent every year.

It is completely a student driven college and a lot of events happen every year through which a great learning experience is acquired. There are 26 clubs and commiitees and every month one or the other club conducts an event. There is an annual All India inter college management fest in the month of January with more than 200 students participating from 40+ bschools from every nook and corner of the country. The sports fest is also organized similarly. The beauty is everything is being carried out by students only.

They increase the fee every year but it is on par with the fee that is collected in other b schools. ROI looks less on paper but considering the age of the Institute, it should increase year after year.

Scholarships are as per the policies of Symbiosis International (Deemed) university. We have already seen a few scholarships being offered based on the merit and talent shown in and out of the college. Loan facility can be opted through Hdfc credila and Avanse financial services.

We have a extra curricular vertical with clubs and commmitees that include sports, cultural, organizing commitee. These three clubs are crucial in pulling off most of the events. We have an analytics lab to meet the modern day industry demands.

Hostel rooms are spacious and one can be assured of all the comforts in the hostel. On a scale of 10, 9 points can be given to the hostel infrastructure and facilities. Heard that the room sharing basis has been changed from twin sharing to three sharing. I don't know how far it is true, but two sharing is more comfortable.

The college is too young to build a strong alumni network. But the steps and measures taken in last two years look very promising. Definitely, there is going to be strong alumni network which would be helpful. A few alumni have already started contributing back.

It's a continuous evaluation process. The internal evaluation carries 60 percentage weightage and 40 percent weightage is given to externals. The system is so efficient and demands the comprehensive abilities of students.

The admission process takes place in two phases. One has to write the SNAP, National wide entrance examination for all the Symbiosis institutions across India. Upon clearing the institutions' cut off, the candidates will be called for phase 2. The phase 2 of the selection process comprises 4 rounds: Group Exercise, Written Ability Test, Personal Interview and psychometric test. The consolidated scores of both the phases are taken and considered for the preparation of final merit list.

The faculty has been the pillars of success that the college has achieved so far. The average experience of faculty is 16 years and they carry a rich industry experience as well. If they find a student focussed and enthusiastic about academics, they are ready to reach any number of extra miles to facilitate the student
