An honest review of my time at sindhi college

The course curriculum is comprehensive, theoretical knowledge, and practical skills which influenced my decision to choose this course. It prepares well for real world applications And further Academic pursuits. The teaching methods are good. Regarding exams The Frequency is Reasonable, with internal exams and model exams and timing is consistent but exams are challenging.

Iam a second year student so I don't have any knowledge about the name of the companies and roles offered under internships with stipend. But i have heard from my senoirs and i asked them how was the internship and they said that it was good and helpful for them. Many of college students have placed in a company and offered internships with stipend.

Campus placements start from 5th semester, with companies like vertical solution, pinatha enterprises, croma, TVS and pace setters. The highest package is ?5LPA, with an average of ?3LPA. After graduation i plan to either pursue further education or work in AI.

The fees structure for B.com general is ?20,000 per semester. The college provides various state and central government scholarship. Apart from this the college also provides merit based scholarship for some students. I received scholarship through national scholarship portal for ?12000 one year.

The college held Christmas day celebration in December month, pongal celebration in January month and ayudha pooja celebration in October month which was good. The books available in the library was good and it was helpful for the students but I expect more books can be available in the library which will be more helpful for us. The facilities in the classroom are good. There is an excellent sports and extracurricular activities in my college. Many students got price in sports while competed with other colleges. I don't know about the student-run social groups, clubs or student portal.

I applied to college like presidency college, SA college and sindhi college. I got seat in presidency college but it was far from my home. In SA college the fees was little high. I got admitted in Sindhi college for its placements, good teaching and reasonable fees. The admission process was smooth with document verification.

The well qualified and well defined faculty are teaching perfectly. The relationship between staffs and students are very friendly and approachable. Professors like Dr. Suba Ma'am are excellent and clear. The college administration conducts exams and three stages: First internal exam, second Internal exam, Model exam. This exams are challenging with a High failure rate. The curriculum is up to date Madras University and aligned with industry needs.

Iam a day scholar student. My college doesn't have hostel and gym facility. So i don't have any experience about the nightlife in my college. My college will be closed by 1.30 PM for the students but the library will be closed by 3.30 PM until the staff leaves. Hangout places in the college campus was student lounge, canteen, library and some common places to get some fresh hangout places outside the campus was park, cafe, shopping malls and shops near my college.
