D.M. College at a glance

BCA is 3 years full-time bachelor's degree program in computer application affiliated to Punjab University and the course curriculum is also created and provided by the University itself. Computer Fundamental and Office Automation, Programming Principles and Algorithm, Digital Electronics and Computer Organization, Computer architecture and assembly language and subjects related to these subjects are taught during the course.

The college needs improvement in the placement section as the college doesn't have any proper placement cell which could organize campus placements and all so if one needs job or placement then s/he would have to try themselves.

There are a lot of events and festivals that are organized every year from time to time in which there are different national events such as Independence Day, Republic Day, Swachchhata Divas. Birth anniversaries and Death anniversaries of famous personalities like Gandhi Jayanti, Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti, Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnana.

There are different scholarship and student freeship available for the students in which there are scholarship programs from the state as well as the central government, financial support from the different nongovernment organizations as well as private organizations and foundations. The college will support in availing these scholarships.

College campus is well built and the campus has all the necessary infrastructure for the students for providing the convenience in academics as well in enjoying the campus life. Well equipped labs for every department, well furnished and spacious classrooms are there, Lush green lawns, well-stocked computerized library, and many more facilities.

Admission to the college is based on the merit list published by the college as per the course selected by the students. I applied to the college by filling the form available at the admission counter and submitted it to the same counter by enclosing the attested copies of the relevant documents required for the admission such as previous years' qualifications and others too.

Faculties of the college are also very good and supportive, they are understanding and the supportive one. Most of the faculties are MTech, MCA, Ph.D. and UGC-NET qualified and have relevant experience of teaching as well as corporate experiences.
