Likes
- This college provides a wide range of courses it itself consists of various schools including multiple courses with varying fee Structures and each course has a large number of faculties who are well qualified
- It provides a great exposure to cultural activities and events which helps in developing confidence and involvement in extra curricular activities. It includes fests where students get opportunities to get involved and show their talent
- Regular classes are being held with a mandatory 75% attendance criteria which maintains the regularity of students in classes and help them maintain their interest in the course
Dislikes
- Things which are not liked include the washrooms which are not regularly cleaned and drinking water facility is only available in the ground floor and the elevators also don't work properly
- The placement package is very average and also only 10% students get placed through campus selection
- Coming to the hostel their is no wifi facility available and the mess food is not up to the mark sometimes the rice has a bad odour
Course Curriculum Overview
I decided to pursue bca because I had a great interest in computer science field and through this course I get a great exposure towards my goal . In this course I came to learn about software engineering, different programing languages etc
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Deloitte infosys wipro tcs visit the campus for placement they provide internship but they don't provide stipend the internships are paid also the course includes minor and major projects to include in the resume
Placement Experience
For bca the students are eligible for placement are of 3rd year which is the 5th and 6th sem . Companies like Deloitte, infosys, wipro, tcs visit the campus but only 10-20% students get placed the average package offered is 3-4 lakhs
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fees for bca is 65000 per year and 90000 for 3 seater hostel and 1k for 2 seater. It includes a caution money of 5000 for college and 10k for hostel which will be refunded after the course completion. It also provides scholarship for reserved categories and meritorious students. Also early bird and scholarship based on 12th marks are granted
Campus Life
Annual fest unifest is held in the month of February every year and SIH are also there also music concert is organised once in two years the central library consists of a wide range of Books . It also provides performing and arts club which manages the events organised
Hostel Facilities
Per student is provided with a shelf almirah table chair and a bed in the hostel . The quality of the meal is average they provide four time meal. For hostel 10000 is a caution money and hostel stay is not compulsory
Admission
I chose this college as it has less fees compared to other colleges for this course also maths is not the compulsory subject to opt for bca as I am from pcb background. For admission you can either go for direct admission through an interview or through cuet examination . There is no specific eligibility criteria for admission in bca
Faculty
The faculty student ratio is 1:60 for bca and it varies depending on the course you choose. The exam process is that they conduct two mid term examinations and then the final end term the mid term are of 20 marks each and ann average of it is added and the end term examination is of 60 marks remaining 20 marks include class participation and assignments.
Night Life
Both the campus have gym facilities included in the hostel fees and have nescafes library parks roaming around the campus is allowed till 10 pm and outside the campus till 7pm The campus is completely ragging free
