Dislikes
- This would be the mess curry..haha . Sometimes the food is soo good that it won't pass from my mouth..
- The college really need to renovate the gym otherwise the place is very good
- The infrastructure even though it is very good it really need renovation because some hostels and some departments are in bad condition.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I love the job that I will be doing in the future. And about the studying methods i would really appreciate if the firm is digitalised and rather not still on pen and paper basis. For the improvement section they courses are already on the move to enhance their methods techniques etc to provide the best health care in this modern day and age for that I don't think there is much needed for me to say. The frequency of the exams that are conducted is good they take our test timely checking our progress and all.
Internships Opportunities
The internship is done after our final year exams are over and we do this in order gain experience on how to handle patient and diagnose them. It is a one year term program is provided to evey student enroll in the college after their final years are done.

Campus Life
The annual fest we have is the JNIMS fest which is quite a big fest in it. It is held only once a year and it's around september and October. The library is also very well maintained with all the current books that are required by the students to help them study. Inside the classroom we are provided with projectors, speakers and all sorts of equipments that are required by the teacher for interactions and explanation to the students. For the sports we have college week, interbatch sports competition etc in and around April-May. This are the most hype events in our college because here we will be giving our everything to make our own house get the trophy. The social group is big group that is made by the students called the JNIMS Student association (JSA). This association really helps in organising freshers meet etc. and all the here and there needs for the students to excel.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms are very good and is good for two people per room. The hostel food is quite edible and the take 2300rs per month as mess fee which is run by the students but there are cooks. About the locality PG and rooms I don't have much idea about it but people say it's quite affordable.
Admission
The college that were available here is the Regional institute of medical sciences which is a central college. I could not get there because of lower rank and I am in my current college because I was within the merit list on which the college was accepting. To get into this such medical College we are required to write an entrance exam called the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET). After that the results will be declared and there will be merit list by which every state establishes and according to that we are enrolled.
Faculty
There are many departments in my College. The Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacology etc from the MBBS side and Oral pathology and dental anatomy, prosthodontics, endodontics etc from the BDS side. All of the teachers are very good and helpful. The student to teacher ratio would be 30:2 I would say. For me i like all the departments and I don't have particular department that I would say I like this more or i hate this department. The exams taken in my college is on regular basis and since the college is affiliated with the Manipur university the conduction if the exam is rather strict and the quality of the exam is moderately tough. The course that we are taught is making us to be self sufficient and be helpful to the people around us when they are in need.
Night Life
There is a GYM in our college but is very dirty and needs to be cleaned properly and needs a renovation. The library is well maintained and recently we got a cafe inside our college and it is quite very good. The hostel are well separated for boys and girls. But since it's old it's needs to be renovated and needs a cleaning around the hostel area. There is not much famous place around our college but we do have a site viewing place about 3km from our college and it's very soothing there. I will be pleased to show such place of any of the people come to our college. Roaming during the night is rather safe but I would not recommend it now since because of the ongoing conflict in Manipur we don't know what might happen next.
