Course Curriculum Overview
The college is autonomous making the curriculum quite easy and also because of the strictness about attendance the lab practicals make us understand the real world problems as well as solve it efficiently. The timing of exams might not be very good sometimes but it is not problematic.
Placement Experience
The campus placement is eligible from the 7 semester that is from the start of the 4th year and the placements are good as well. The highest package as per my knowledge is 1800000 where as the average package is around 400000. I am not sure about the percentage of students getting placed but it might be around 80%. And talking about my plans after degree is that I might go for higher studies and also sit for the placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The overall fee structure of my addmission year was 138000, as I got admission in ews so I needed to pay 50% of my tuition fees that is arround 77000. The fee structure from 2023 is increased to 148000. Also there are different fee waiver system according to category like for OBC also there is 50% waiver whereas for NT or SC they only need to pay 15000.
Campus Life
The biggest annual cultural fest of the college is called Maffik that is usually held in January or February. Also there is another technical feat in the college that is different for different departments held by them only in the month of February and March. The college has departmental Libra as well as a central Library having a good range of books and a nice studying environment. The technological facilities in class room is also very good and handy. College is supporting for sports representing University but not for association. Also there are multiple clubs and club activities making overall social interaction very good on the college.
Admission
Being a resident of nashik this is the best and top college in nashik which made to take admission in this college. Also the admission criteria for the college is merit based that is also very high and that makes the students to not able to get the admission also.
Faculty
The faculty to students ratio differs according to the department but talking about software department the faculties are pretty good in number and also the relationship of faculty and students is nice, they are quite approachable and helping. Very rare faculties are rude. Also there are 2 exams in a semester namely insem and endsem of 20 and 60 marks respectively. Also there is 20 marks CCE test i.e in class test on regular basis making the overall total score for a subject to be 100. Also the tests are of moderate difficulty for a smart student.
Night Life
The locality is pretty safe to hang around at night but the college hostellers it is compulsory to not go outside the campus. Also the college has a very good gym, cafeteria, and library making the overall experience very nice and enjoyable. The main spots to hangout in the college is blue port, white port, gears, cafeteria, and the college ground. As these are open for all and mostly has a very nice environment.
