DBIMSCA - should you join or skip

Iam a ca aspirant , this course is more likely to offer accounting aspects and financial related subjects. this help the students who would like to apply for management colleges foe m.com and mba . As a B.com student at DBIMSCA , our college offers curriculum strenghts like industry relevant courses , practical exposure , and others for real world applications . curriculum improvements - more specialization options , incorporate eemerging trends , case stuudies , soft skills development . teaching methods improvement - blended learning , fli[pped classroom , guest lectures peer review. semeste exams are condcted twice a year by banglore university (BU) . they are comparatively easy to be passed by a average student.

students become eleigible to attend placement sessions after 4th semester passing. compaanies like IBM, DELLOITE, ACCENTURE, BYJUS , INFOSYS, EY , MAHINDRA were few among the top companies that come to recruit . the highest package on year 2024 wah 14.2 lpa with the average package of 3-4 lpa. only 10 out 0f 100 students get placed every year (10%) Iam a ca aspirant already pursuing intermediate , hence i would continue to complete the course after graduation.

there will be annual sports meet(august) , annual day ( SAMBRAMA-november ) , freshers day , farewell , ethnic day-( november) , colors week(october) , all the bangalore uniersity subject books will be avialable in the library in terms of 20 boks of same subject. there will be projectors in every classroom and charging sockets taht can be used by both students and staff. students can be part of clubs like ARIVU , GREENERY , COMMERCE CLUB ,

the hostels have 24/7 security and CCTV cameras , mess hall servng cuisines of north and south india. the food options iclude both vegetarion and non vegetarion options. the hostel fees for a year stands for rs. 130000 which is average for the facilities offered by them . one can be registered for being in the hostel by filling the application and complete years fee. however, there are plenty of PGs available in kumbalgodu which are super affordable compared to hostel .

I had applied to BIMS and had got my admission confirmed . i studied there for a week . and after experinecing the worst teaching methods by faculty and undefined student structure ,I got my admission transferred to DBIMSCA . the confidence staff gave me to move in here is something i chose this college for . I had applied to ramaiah institute but couldnt get admitted because of fee structure. there is walkin admission in DBIMSCA , anybody with compleing 12th board in karnataka in any board can be admitted here by submitting original documents of 10th and 12th marksheet and transfer certificate. students who are from other state should submit migration certificate . after completing this process one can pay the 1st installment fees and get his admission certificate

* there are approx 40-60 tutors for students over 1000. * kusuma mam , hod of bcom dept. she is one of the most intelligent teachers in the college. she delivers the concepts clearly and will be there for all the student related problems. *there will be two inetrnal assessment tests for each semester . for 30 marks each subjects. marks scored in these tests will be considered for internal marks submitted to university. * the passing percentage of students studying here lies between 80-90%. very less number of students fail to cleatr the exams .

while the nightlife scene around DBIMSCA may not be the most extensive or exciting, there are still opportunities to have a good time . - cafeteria closes before 7 pm - hostel in timings is 6 pm there are no much hangout places around the college. students who are looking for a more vibrant nightlife might be a bit disappointed.
