Remarks

For the overall development of a student's personality, this college can be termed as the best in the entire Chhattisgarh. One will never ever regret his or her decision for opting this as a post graduate college.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

As the college is an autonomous body it keeps on updating it's courses according to the demand of the industry.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college do provide internship after the completion of 1 year of the course. This gives the students a great platform to gain the practical knowledge by working in the industryand having a work experience. The internship may be of minimum 45-60 days (or may be more than that, depends on the company itself). The students here can also get a Pre-placement Offer on the basis of work done in the internship by them. Stipend differs from company to company.

Placement Experience

5

The placements here are also good. I have seen students getting placed in reputed firms like Swiggy, Steelmint, DCB bank, NJ India Invest Pvt. Ltd., etc. with a decent annual package of minimum 2.5 lakhs p.a. to 5 lakhs p.a.

College Events

5

List of events that we celebrate here are unlimited, like recently we have celebrated SIMfiesta (cultural fest) and after that SIMfrolic (sports events). Likewise in every weekend we play different management games and celebrates every little day.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee here is approx 1.9 lakhs for the whole course. You can pay it in lump-sum or can pay in 4 installments as described in the brochure.

Fees and Financial Aid

About this I'm not knowing much.

Campus Life

4.5

Every day is celebrated with great enthusiasm here like foundation day, SIMfiesta, SIMfrolic, etc. Apart from these the college conducts an outbound program for the students in the 1st year and also an INTERNATIONAL TRIP in the 2nd year.

Hostel Facilities

4

Their is no hostel facility available for boys by the college. For girls, the hostel facility is available and is comparatively good than many other hostels. The food their is also good. I can rate the hostel 7 out of 10 on the basis of food and hygiene maintained.

Alumni/Alumna

You can find SIMER in Facebook and also the alumni their. If interested you can text or call them regarding any query.

Exam Structure

The college here follows the trimester system in a year i.e., 3 semester in a year. Total there are 6 semesters. One semester takes about 2.5 to 3.5 months to get completed followed by exams. The exams consists of both internals and externals, and need 50% marks to get passed in any of the subjects.

Admission

The panel here select the students on the basis of an interview as the seats are limited. At first, you can download the admission form from it's website or can directly collect it from the college itself. After submitting the form, you'll get a call for the interview from the college. Once you'll clear the interview process you'll directly get admission.

Faculty

5

The faculties here are having ample amount of experience in teaching. At the same time, they devote their full effort in enhancing the personality of an individual studying their before they enter into any corporate sector.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The relevancy is not at par to be fair. There are many things which are theoretical but are not applicable in real life which makes our course a little out of date in comparison to real life practices.

Placement Experience:

Every year, good law firms from tier 1 and 2 classes and corporate companies take placements from our college. The students become eligible for placement from the 9th semester itself. In my batch, every student who registered for placement got placed in a law firm. I didn't opt for placement as I have other plans of doing a Master's further after my graduation.

Placement Experience:

To be honest placement scenario is not really good. One becomes eligible for placement in the final year. Companies like cognizant used to visit the college for mass recruitment but after covid even they are not visiting. But few startups visit every year. The highest package this year was 12 lpa ctc. And avg 6 lpa. Only 30 percent get placement. My plan is to do M TECH.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you're getting into MBBS, you have cleared neet and you have a slight idea of what you're getting yourself into. The subjects are tough, especially anatomy, because of the vastness of the subject. But if you're consistent and making lil efforts everyday, it's achievable without hampering the fun part of college life. Here are a few gem of resources that everyone uses for first year. Biochemistry - jambhulkar notes, Vasudevan/ satyanarayan book Lippincott for advanced studies Physiology - Sembulingam and Guyton. I swear by them. It doesn't get any simpler than this. Ganong for in depth studies Anatomy - Johari for exams Vishram Singh for easy to understand language and super simple diagrams Gray's anatomy for in depth understanding. Embryology - vishram Singh Histology - IB Singh Dissection - Cunningham or Mercy Navis There will be 2 terminal exams 1 pre University and then the final University. Don't rely on lectures to prepare you for this. You'll have to teach yoursel
