Remarks

Transport charges will be low.good infrastructure.our college teaching is best.food will more important.No ragging in our college.Good place of studies.sports facilities and grounds are good.they equipment of sports will provided by college.

Course Curriculum Overview

This course curriculum is same semester atleast one practical lab.they have many several assememt.Model exam also there.they have our performance in college exam ,and model exam provided our internal marks.

Internships Opportunities

Yes.it have more internship training are provided by college.Integral Coach Factory,CMM,engine assembly and reassembly internship are participating in college days.It will very use full of studies.the internship will be more important.

Placement Experience

Placement will be very use.they have many company are coming in our college. The most important is placement is 90percent of students are placed in interview.the college have provided many IT company and CORE company are there in campus interview.

College Events

Symposium is best.they have more important in sports day.Our College will be celebrated in Onam, chirtstmas,and Pongal. They have good best in Pongal celebration.the Onam celebrate in all students most of them kerla students.

Feasible.The transport charges are compared to other college our college is best. The college fess is feasible.as per government norms.exrta fees will not charged in our college.The hostel fees will be high.as per time food , accommodation is good,room facilities are good.

Scholarship will be provided in government norms.loan facility also available in our college.the scholarship based on our family background.it have very hello in my College fess.they have provided by our college direct to loan.

The extra curricular activities many of them in our college.sports is very important.lab and related to project SAEE,BAGA,are there in our college.training and participating in SAEE event.They have created a new car and racing in the events.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel infrastructure is good.they have good rooms.the canteen will good place of our friends enjoy in the place.They have separate room per two or three persons.and room will be nearest to the our college.

Our senior students will good.they have good relationship.no ragging in our campus.All of them our friends.Our department students are very helpful to our studies and personal activities.They have always supported by junior students.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Life in HIMT

Likes

With regards to training and placements the college is very good . All training as per DGMA and IMU is strictly followed and the placements for B.Sc is 90% and above . The faculties and instructors in the college are well experienced and skilled.
The college is strict regarding alcohol and smoking and it is not allowed inside campus and regular alcohol checks are conducted . Discipline and safety is the first priority for the college.
Classrooms are air conditioned. Hostel rooms are good . Any defects in rooms or any places inside college which are addressed are rectified.

Dislikes

College doesn't conduct inter college events . Internal events are very less . The few events conducted in college has also many restrictions.
Galley food can be better . College canteen is not good

Placement Experience:

The placements for B.Sc Nautical science in HIMT is 90% and above . The placement drive usually starts in the 2nd year (4th semester) and for girls 1st year (2nd semester). The companies which usually come for placements in my college are MOLMI,MOLTA, ZODIAC,SANMAR,GENCO, ONESEA etc ... The package for cadets differ from company to company and type of vessel.

HIMT COLLEGE REVIEW

Likes

The faculties are very well experienced and there are captains who stay in the campus itself, so if there’s something we need they will be available all the time
The facilitieslike labs, ship in campus, DB tank facilities etc are top notch
The classrooms are fully air conditioned. There’s smart board. Overall everything is really good and also neat and clean

Dislikes

Galley food can improve a little and canteen is comparatively small for such a big campus
They are not conducting intra- college events and inter-college events is very less

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good in HIMT. I got placed in 1st year itself in MOLMI. All faculties try their best to prepare us for the placements and it shows in the placement interview also. Usually companies come for placements from 2nd year but there are some companies who want to take girl cadets 1st year itself. MOLMI, MOLTA etc came to our college for placements. After completion of the course, company will call for induction and accordingly they will call for joining the ship. For finishing the cadet ship , we have finish 12 months of sea time. After that a lot courses has to be done for appearing in 2 nd mates exam.

LIFE IN HIMT COLLEGE

Likes

System and the Rules followed in this college
Hierarchy system such as committe heads, cadet captains etc
Infrastructure mainly the football and cricket turf

Dislikes

Punishments, because you will get punished when one of your batchmate did anything wrong
Compared to other colleges himt is not celebrating that much for festivals
Regular musters, You will have to attend minimum 3 muster a day

Placement Experience:

I am placed in MOLMI. And sincerely thank HIMT for the placement. The other companies who Recruits cadets from HIMT are Zodiac, MOLTA, Sanmar, Genco, Ozler ONE shipping etc . HIMT have good placement records of 100%, if you have no arrears then for sure will get placed

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Commerce cours has an entire building as we have five division in B.Com itself.
Seminars and industry people are called to guide us for placements and what all add ons do we need to learn to get a corporate job.
Our fests is too good as otherwise college gate closed at 5pm but during fests it last till 10 pm.

Dislikes

Dress code which is very wierd both for boys and girls.

Placement Experience:

P&G, Deloitte, KPMG, INTEL and many others have started taking interest in B.Com students as well. Placements though our of 400 it is still around like 100 odd students get placed from campus and with a salary of 30-40k around.

Likes

Exams can be usually easy as this is a five year integrated course
Some faculties are friendly as they themselves are fresh graduates

Dislikes

But most faculties come off very rude and disrespectful
The office people are not at all approachable
The student login has so many glitches which cause delays in downloading of hallticket

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is one end semester exam and 2 CIAs in one year.Endsem is for 100m and CIAs are 40marks each . There is one assignment for each CIA for 10m each. So totally both the CIA together is 100 marks. Then the average of CIA and end semester is calculated if 40 or above it's pass otherwise you have to reappear. The subjects are not at relevant as computer science keeps changing regularly.

This college has a good faculty to educate the students.
Interactive class will be available for students.
Lot of programs will be held related to medical field.

Dislikes

This college doesn't has a free wifi connection
Hostel food is average in taste. Regular time table will be followed.
Not that much of infrastructure in this college

This college will provide the placement to students. This college will tie up with lot of pharma college. And they select the students based on their academic and practical knowledge and taken them by interview. Special instructions will be given related to placements.

Remarks:

I got this college through Mci. The campus was beautiful also after asking to the students over there I got to know that the whole course will be in English so no issue of language in teaching and also the teachers are friendly and supporting and there is no ragging in the campus.

I am a sports personso i got offer in the sports quota so I went for selection trails and I got selected and chose this clg ,In all over tamilnadu in aeronautical engineering our clg places 23 rank so I chose this clg and went for admission.
