Dislikes
- Infrastructure is Average and they should focus more on upgrading as it'd make the students have a great experience when it comes to connect with your surroundings more
- Lack of playground or activities which needs to be there so that students can focus on other aspects of their life as well
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum vitae of IBI involves every single thing I might need in the flourishing industrial world which probably the other institutes might not be offering. We've got AI-powered learnings and we get to involve ourselves in so many workshops or real life projects which helps in overall character development. I personally don't think that I might need any changes in the curriculum because they're already offering what's best in the market so yes. I come from a BSc biotech background, it was a bit difficult for me to catch up with the managerial world. I think they need to increase the time a bit more for the students to gel in with the subjects because at times it gets so difficult to even connect with them. Plus during the exams you've to answer 5 questions out of 8, which is a fair deal for me. You get all the time to make decisions as per your comfort but then one of the ques is still compulsory. Seems fair to me
Internships Opportunities
IBI offers a diverse range of internship opportunities with renowned companies across various sectors. Here are some examples: Company: Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) Role: Marketing Intern Stipend: Competitive stipend based on performance Projects: Market research and analysis of a specific product/segment Developing marketing campaigns and strategies Assisting in product launches and promotions Analyzing consumer behavior and market trends Outcomes: Gaining hands-on experience in marketing principles and practices Developing analytical and problem-solving skills Building a strong understanding of consumer behavior and market dynamics Networking with industry professionals Company: Ernst & Young (EY) Role: Finance Intern Stipend: Competitive stipend based on performance Projects: Financial statement analysis and auditing Assisting in financial modeling and valuations Conducting due diligence and risk assessments Preparing financial reports and presentations Outcomes: Gaining practical experience in financial accounting and analysis Developing strong analytical and problem-solving skills Enhancing knowledge of financial regulations and standards Exposure to a professional work environment in the finance industry Company: Amazon Role: Operations Intern Stipend: Competitive stipend based on performance Projects: Analyzing and optimizing supply chain processes Improving warehouse efficiency and inventory management Participating in process improvement initiatives Conducting market research and competitive analysis Outcomes: Understanding of supply chain management principles and practices Developing analytical and problem-solving skills Improving project management and organizational skills Exposure to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
Placement Experience
As soon as we complete the first three trimesters which marks our first year, we are eligible for the summer internships. I'm in my 2nd trimester and I'm currently doing an internship within my college itself. They'll always give you all the possible ways to help you upgrade your cv. Big 4s and all the known companies come for the placement to our college and every senior of mine has gotten a good placement. 50lpa is the highest package while average remains 18lpa. 100% placement is there. They'll literally forge you in a way that you'll get a place till you get to the end of your final trimester My plans after getting my degree would be getting a real good placement which adds on to my personal growth as well as my monetory benefits
Fees and Financial Aid
You may get a scholarship in the b-school if your percentage in your 10, 12 and graduation was more than 70%, you may also get a scholarship for being a girl child and you'll also get a scholarship if you score real great in any of the management entrance exams. Yearly fees for the 1st year is 5,35,000 and for the second year it's 3,60,000 Fees of my batchmates vary as I got 2 scholarships
Campus Life
Raunak is the annual fest that our college conducts and then there are so many fests be it related to sports or any festivals. They never hold back conducting club activities which are successful too. It depends solely on the students as organising everything to managing it and conducting it and participation also is a factor that the students handle themselves, which again adds on to their managerial skills very well. We've got all the facilities when it comes to our library, we've access to 30000+ ebooks, journals etc and we can access to many more plus they've got hardcopies as well. We have library periods as well just to improve our general knowledge. We've got ac's and white boards with eboards as well. Our teachers use eboards to teach us PPT and as students, we also present our presentation while the assessment evaluation is done. Students are the content creators in our college and they're the one who handle all the digital platforms as well. Which lets us have a hands on experience with digital platforms.
Admission
I applied to so many other colleges in Delhi ncr but yes the biggest factor was that my cat score was a bit low. I scored only 70 percentile overall which wasn't enough to get in IIM or some other overly prestigious college. I got selected in all the other colleges and my interviews went well with all of them, I got the offer letter too but then I compared all the colleges. This college has so much more to offer as compared to others. It had a better teaching pattern, and the curriculum is up-to-date when it comes to what the current industrialists might require. Admission process involves interviews, 3-4rounds. And once you get selected you'll receive the offer letter soon. You can then get yourself enrolled in the very institute
Faculty
I really love how even the directors of the institute give personal attention to the students. I've never ever faced a single difficulty when it comes to studies or if I've felt homesick because my teachers have always been so much more to me, more like my family members only. There would be 3 trimesters in 1st year and then the internship and then 2 more trimesters of specialisation You'll have to appear twice for the exams per trimester One would be mid sem and the other ones would be your final ones. I'd also suggest to anyone reading this that you must ensure grabbing all the knowledge carefully and taking notes on whatever your faculty teaches you or else you might face consequences when it comes to scoring good
