Likes

Placements activities will be more so students could be used to get more knowledge gain through their careers
Canteen foods worth for the amount provided
Innovation supportive through the staffs and management

Dislikes

Very Less cultural activities and not satisfied with the one day cultural day
One day only sports day that too not organised properly
Only formals inside the college and not having the festive celebrations for all

Course Curriculum Overview

The course which is new for the entire college initially it was tough even for faculty to understand up with the core but after our batch every staff had good experience so the syllabus is covered in a easy way now

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

College management will try to push you to go for many internships with many set of availability through the guidance and made with the factor of making you a perfect employee through it which could make survive in IT companies

Placement Experience

Placements are good make sure that the basics should be covered up so that you can crack any of the placement easily so practice well could make more placement opportunities into the career even management will support you in this

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structured for my batch was 1.5 lakh and there is a compulsory pay for the food and bus which should be paid around 90 k to 1 lakh for it so for round off we can say 2.5 lakh per year will be there to pay

Campus Life

College life were I could say simply it's like a school only but if you choose the placement and other set of career development the college is ok but if you expect that you need some college life wonders it's not as such

Admission

I had applied to SRM even got the seat but I expected artificial intelligence and data science in the college but the seats were filled so I opted st Joseph's institute of technology were they given artificial intelligence and data science

Faculty

The faculty members in our artificial intelligence and data science department are gems there would be a friendly approach towards your college life so that everyone likes the department and the exams are been conducted in 3 type model 1,2,3 and semester

Night Life

Since I am a day scholar I have heared that night life of hostellers said that there will be no water coming after 10 or 11 so all will fill it with tub and may be an hostel student could say more better

Detailed review of Sathyabama University

Placement Experience:

top tech companies will come to our campus for replacement some of them are Amazon, JP Morgan, TCS, cognizant according to our skill level, they will choose before applying for any company. And the average placement they offer is 7-10 LPA. You should pass some exams in our college, which is held by our placement cell, so those are pretty much annoying nearly 10 exams they will put just for applying for each company.

Good college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculums are good (it depends on depts) and they are updated and new electives/ cbcs are added thus updating curriculum and there are subject with heavy lab which don't have end sem instead lab and only internal which is not what other colleges have. they also have open book test for subjcts like programming languge so students can focus on learning the language instaed of memorizing. however as we are batch of a new regulation we are not aware of kind of questions that would come. however forthcoming batches won't be having this issue. unlike other collges only 2 internal exams and 1 semester is conducted. both the internal is given equal weightage ( having unit 1&2 and 3&4 for each exams) and retest is also conducted for internal however even if one exam not written they need to write all 4 unit incase of health issues etc. 50% internal and 50% external. so if having good internal can easlity score well in total. However if one fails to secure internal then passing the subject becomes very hard. Core subjects however prepares well for real-world. however i feel curriculums should be slightly revised so that students learn everyhting systematically instead of memorizing. Good internships

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester, if you have required skill sets you can go for internships and placements. There are more than 600 companies that include Tata, Mahindra, Google, Deloitte and many more. Highest package was of 1.2 crores and average package is 8 -9 lakhs. I don't have the exact statistical data but yaa more than 70% students get placed. I am looking for a high pay job after getting the degree

MY COLLEYE LIFE

Placement Experience:

They start conducting interviews after completing the 6th semester. At least 6 companies come for the campus placement like tech Mahendra, TCS, and manufacturing companies like sakthi auto-complete, tata motors, etc. They placed a minimum of 150000 per aum. The percentage of students getting placements is 30%. Get a job in a reputed company.

St. Joseph institute of technology

This college has a very good experienced teacher and it's almost giving 83% of placements. Admission was quite easier. They had an admin block where the admission was held. Rs 10000 is the application fee and 60000 is the tuition fee. They regularly have cycle tests a monthly once.food is provided both day scholars as well as hostellers for that they charge 75000. Bus facility is also available which charges 25000 so the average comes 150000 a year which is quite affordable....Read More
