Course Curriculum Overview
The subject which i chose is economics. I have a love for this subject from class 11 when i forst studied this subject. This helps us to know the income level of the nation. The inflation rate, the deflation rate ,where to spend more money where to not. The subject also helps us to know the demand of a product in the market . The couse in the college is taught very nicely.
Fees and Financial Aid
In our college the course fees is divided in 4 section . There is different amount for different course, like i am doing economics so my course fees is divided to 25000 per year. The college also gives a scholarship for students getting 60% above in 10 and 12 where 20% of there money is discounted from course fee. The couse has a caution money of ?500 which is to be paid during registration of the child.
Campus Life
The college has a grand fest in December called Ignite held for 2 days apart from this there is bornfire annual day flashmob and may such events . There is big library named Chanakya where every course book general knowledge books and many more of every kind of interest are available. The classrooms are fully air conditioned. There is a ground for badminton valley ball and a room for indoor games. There are many clubs held by the students such as media club ,cultural club, video editing club.
Admission
I gave admission test for Mount Carmel College bangalore and was selected but the faculty i didn't find that good and it was pretty far from my location . I didn't get rejected from any College. The admission process in Asbm university is that you have ti open the website click on the course you wish to do they provide you with a form and after the online registration there will be a online interview test and after clearing that you wil be selected there is no as such written examination the criteria for eligibility is your board percentage should be 33% and above in all subjects.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is 1:1. It becomes a communicative class the teachers ar very helpful and makes us solve question before exams. There are 8 Semesters for a 4 year course and before every there are 3 internals of 10 marks. The attendance should also be 75% before the Semester exams begins.
Night Life
There is a huge gym where all kind of machines are available and a cafeteria for evening snacks. There is also a park for chilling under the sky. The college also has a fountain in the park. The in timing of the campus is 7 30 in the evening.
