People need to know before choosing KL University

There are few courses which relates to our specialization and few will not related to ours. And few courses not even related to our Branch. They will provide handouts for every course and they mention in-detail in that handout about course. For every course there will be a credits, we have to obtain those credits by the end of our B. Tech. They are jumbling the courses year to year, that will not give good impact. Exams are not much difficult and timing of exams are evry semister will be for 5 months and for every 2 months they will conduct in sem exams and after that end semister exam.

Many internship offers are available in our college like JP Morgan 2 months internship with stipend of 75,000/- rupees per month. Deloitte 6 months internship with 25,000/- rupees per month. At & T 3 months internship with 49,500/- rupees per month. Yash technologies 3 months internship with 15,000/- rupees per month.

From 6th semister the student is eligible for placements in campus, like college IRP(Industrial Relationships and Placements) team will inform the students through mails and so that they can apply and participate in that drive. They will check eligibity like we have to maintain minimum of 85% attendance in training classes and need to follow their instructions. TCS gave 600 offers, Tech Mahindra gave 380 offers, Deloitte gave 40 offers, LTI MindTree gave 40 offers and few companies will small number of offers. Highest pacakge is between 15 lakhs to 20 lakhs per annum. And average package is 4 to 6 lakhs per annum. Students who follows college rules and who are attending training classes and registered for placements will get placed (100%). My plans after getting the degree is to do job and then grow in the industry.

For my batch the fee structure is like 1,25,000/- Rupees for Semister. This is a four year course (B. Tech) and there will be 8 semisters. But I am paying 86,250/- Rupees for Semister because based on my Intermidiate marks they gave me a fee concession where I scored 955/1000. Admission fee is 50,000/- Rupees which we have to pay before joining. In that 15,000/- rupees will be going to Admission fee and 35000/- rupees will be deducted from our first semister. For example if our first semister fee id 1,00,00/- then we have to pay just 65,000/- rupees. Exam fee should be paid by students at end on each semister that is on and around 2000/- rupees. Hostel fee will be depended on students like how they want and transport fee will be depended on from how long we are coming to college. Caste based fee concession is also available that is for all non-general category will be given 5% on their fees. And main important thing is if anybody gets concession based on their previous qualification performance then they have to maintain 9/10 CGPA average to continue that. If you fail to maintain then you will not be eligible for that concession from that time.

There are many technical fests like they will conduct for every 15 days to 1 month. Many programming clubs and specialization based clubs also. They will conduct fests and provide cash prizes. In library every book is available for us. If not then we can order that in the reception and they will inform us in 2 to 3 days once they bought that for us. In every classroom projecter will be there and like digital boards. So that very easy for the student to learn content in that subject. We can join in any sport. In college there are grounds for each and every sports and also for games. Our college will host sports tournaments. And also many dance clubs, singing clubs and NCC, NSS clubs are there. Even a group of students can go to HOD of the department and they can create one own club by their approval. College will conduct fests for every department and 2 major fests for overall college every year.

Basically I haven't applied for any other colleges. I just applied for KL University and I got seat in this college. I preffered this college because quality of education is good and they will provide placements for sure. I didn't get rejections from any other colleges because I haven't applied for any other colleges. Admission process of my college is like firstly we have to pay 50,000/- rupees through sbi collect website and then they will send admission to our registered mail and mobile number. They will provide concession on fees if your are eligible. In that 50,000/- rupees 15,000/- ruppes is admission fees and 35,000/- will be subtracted from your first semister fees, you have to pay remaing amount in your first semister by subtracting that 35,000/- rupees. KLEEE exam will be conducted for students, we have to pay 1000/- rupees to write that exam and if we get good rank then we are eligible for concession. And based on our previous qulaification performance also they will provide concessions like I got concession based on my intermediate performance. After completing the admission process they will assign counsellor to a set of students and they will instruct us what to do intially and then after joining they will keep registration process to students to choose courses and course instructors.

Coming to the faculties there are 3 types of classes like Lecture, Skill and Practical for each course. In Lecture there is only 1 faculty for 80 students to deliver a lecture. And in skill there are 2 faculties for 80 students and each faculty will take care about 40 students. And coming to Practical there are 3 faculties, one will be explaing things to be done and other 2 will be monitoring the students in the labs. Dr. E. Sridevi madam is my favorite one. She was my councellor when I was in my 1st year of B. Tech and she was my Java Faculty. There are few more best faculties like K. Ashesh, he delivers full stack courses and he was our Proffesor in-charge and Hari Kiran Vega is our HOD and he delivers Core subjects. There is no one particularly that I didn't like but few times some faculty will behave rude while doing invigilations for exams. That much rude behavior will not be encouraged. There are 5 courses per semister in average. They will conduct In-semister exams twice a semister and end semister exam for every course. They are very easy if we listen to the class and just remember it. People will get failed if they are not attentive to the class. And 85% students will be passed easily.

Gym will be available in college and timing are from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM (IST). Fee for gym depends on things we want like need trainer of not. Linrary timing is from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM (IST). Cafeterias timing is 9:00 Am to 9:00 PM (IST). Campus timing is from 5:30 AM to 9:30 PM (IST). Hostel timings if from 5:30 AM to 9:30 PM (IST). Best hangouts places are outside Indoor stadium and outside library in college and coming to outside college there are many cafes near college and during nights no safety outside college most probably.
