Reality of Medical College in mountains

Our course is Bachelor of Dental Medicine and Surgery, as we all know we do have to come into this course by passing a very competitive exam NEET, so obviously the course is difficult. Doing it through a government college like this makes it beneficial and working. The college in this sense makes us learn the stream well and exam difficulty is good. It is nice with this teaching area and worthful.only the thing that is a little annoying is attendance if attendance is low they won't allow to sit in exam , a horrific condition.

The college is a medical college so it provides nevertheless the same internship opportunities as of other medical colleges.The 1 year internship course gives a salary of 15K per month. There is no stipend money given to students that' a little sad.

The students who are very very good in students and the rankers they make quite a well money in this college. Everyyear prizes are being distributed to the rankers and good holders get a cash price also. The rankers after completing the course are offered to serve the hospital with good salary like 60K to 65K every month. So yes the college is a good asset for those who are meritful student. Otherwise you can open your own clinic also after getting the degree from this college.

Yearly we need to pay a fee of rs 27000 irrespective of caste and other discrepancies, that makes this college quite genuine and biased free. This 27000 involves all other charges including the hostel fee, for a prospectus we need to pay seperate 500rs.Scholarship is given per year and we need to register on it from NSP portal with the required verified documents.Overall the college is state government affiliated being a medical college it' liberal in fee structure and administration.

We have grandful nice freshers meet and annually there's a fest called college week, where continuously for a week cultural events, sports, indoor games, literary events and etc. are organised. Basically this week the four houses red yellow green blue enters into a tough fight to hold the trophy of best house. Otherwise foundation day is also celebrated and on that day the college magazine get's the limelight.There is no organization of picnic or anything or excursion this makes the college boring. The campus has good places to roam about, it has it' own auditorium that supports all the events, own ground for sports. Overall the campus is peaceful

The hostel is very affordable just think for a year you are paying 7000 to accomodate a room with good enough space. For the meals their is a mess that is runned by students and hostellers pay a fee of 2300rs every month for their 3 time meals. In the month end they organise a special meal that includes many special delicious food. Only the washrooms sometimes needs to be cleaned by the students itself because the workers don't come as seen of a government college. Overall the hostel area is very good it has a good field for sports and outdoor dinner or celebration.

Choosing of this college was not in my hand , it was completely decided by MCC, I filled all the college's that was government affiliated for this course and according to my merit and vacancy of seat MCC provided me this. Admission procedure in this college is very simple you just need all your documents ready and proper and you got a go.

The faculty to students ratio is quite ok in the college, the student association works hard to establish all the students right properly. The authorities are very helpful and they always see the students concern. For any arising problem the faculty meets the students association for reaching a good appropriate decision. The Dean Directors and other members are very supportive and always available.

As because the campus is behind a mountain the view is very beautiful, cafeteria library is very good place, in face the outside of administrative building iss too peaceful and very nice place to hang around with friends for jogging and reading. Our hostel is co-ed one side boys stay one side girls however for the MBBS people they have separate girls and boys hostel. But many people think co ed hostel is dangerous but we never felt that, to be honest this uniqueness of the hostel makes it more friendly and home like. In our profession practical work is muchmore, we many times boys and girls together do this practical work that makes the work easier to be done, like sometimes needing work involving fire materials, pressure applying instruments and sharp cutting instrumts and all. Moreover the mess managing duty also becomes easier because the hostel is co ed
