My B.Tech Life

Computer Science and Engineering course offers a wide variety of different branches and paths for our careers which makes it the most opted course right at this moment. This course helps us find the right career path which will guarantee us a solid future with software skills and programming skills. The mainly needed AI is also available through this course, which makes it an amazing pathway to gain the goal.

Since the 7th semester onwards, the students are eligible for the placements opportunities provided by the university from the 4th year, 1st semester. Top companies like Amazon, Microsoft, TCS, Wipro and capgemini are a few of the offering companies in our college. A total number of 347 companies visited our college and a total of 4,602 offers have been made. This wide-range of selections gives us a chance to score a high placement.

I have opted the course Computer Science and Engineering(CSE) in B.Tech degree in K L University. For this course, per semester, I am paying Rs. 1,30,000 and per year, the course is sub-divided into two semesters and hence, I am paying Rs. 2,60,000 in total every year for my course since the last two and a half years. I am currently in my third year- second semester(3-2). This is the degree course's tuition fees. Apart from this, we've to pay semester end exam fee which usually depends on the number of courses per semester and if we are using the university's transport, for that, we will be needed to pay the transport fee which also depends on the routes of the transport we avail. Then comes the cultural fests, like Surabhi or Samyak in which one takes place in the begining of the academic year and the other takes place in the ending of the academic year for which we usually pay Rs. 700 for each. Apart from those, we will be needed to pay Campus Recruitment Training(CRT) fee which is a process where the placements team will train us for the upcoming placements that are going to take place in our university the CRT fee accurately will be from Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 30,000. Except these, there will be certification fees which will be conducted in the middle of the semester as a skill week and for that, we will be needed to pay Rs. 1000.

There are many types of fests and annual festivals will be conducted at the university, like, 'Samyak', 'Surabhi', '#include - by CSE department' and many others hosted by various departments, in which there will numerous, different activities. We have a central library which is a beautifully mainted building with lots of books that differ from various subjects, courses and many other varities. There are digital projectors in every classroom which makes the teaching a lot easier for the faculty members there also various labs like computer labs, mechanical labs and etc. The university offers various types of sports like, badminton, cricket, tennis, cricket, basketball and etc with also a gym for both ladies and gents separately. There are so many social clubs run by students in the university and few of them are SAC club, FOCUS cllub, Analytica club, etc.

The first and foremost reason for me to choose this college over the others I've applied to is due to the distance, this college is in a short distance to where I live and hence, would not charge me any extra transport fees and I would be able to use personal transport. This college also has various types of technical and non-technical clubs which not only focus on the subjects and courses, but it also focuses on various different extra-cirricular activities which helps students to participate and loosen up. This college also has many placement opportunities which makes our career smooth and easier.

The faculty teaches using the tech and software and all the provided resource, though a few will not be added like the other leaning platforms or the methoda which would've been useful and more easier for students to understand remember more precisely. The faculty does their work on teaching, conducting tests and surprizes quizes, too.

The gym and cafeteria are always an amazing places to chill out at night for hostelers or when the students stay the night at the college for hackathons or late night fests. There are hostels at the university, seperately for boys and girls. The class timings usually start at morning 9:20 AM to evening 5:30 PM. There will be leisures in the middle so the student doesn't get too worked up or tire out. The famous hangout places inside and outside the university are, inside, the cafeteria names 'KL ADDA' where there will be lots of variety of food and etc and many other places to sit and hang out.
