Course Curriculum Overview
I have taken my specialization as finance and they have some experienced staffs in finance department and the paper's they provided are well good to the real world They have good curriculum and these are very good by applying in the real world Per semester we have one mid term exam and final semester they are moderate - tough to score
Internships Opportunities
I got a intership opportunity from college very few companies come offer summer internship. I had a intership with stipend and it was good Individual Project work will start from 3 rd semester and has to be completed by 4 semester
Placement Experience
After 2 semester students are eligible for campus placement More than 70 companies visit campus and I made one offer as they have a policy of one student one offer and they also provide dream package offer for all students even if they have offer already Highest package is 17 LPA and average is 7.5 LPA Profiles like consultant, manager, analyst, management trainee etc., It's about 98-100 percent placements guaranteed My plan is to get into the job
Fees and Financial Aid
I have joined the course through MAT entrance so my fees is 560000 per year and I would like to pay is 240000 per year as it is collected for TANCET entrance students. For MAT the fee structure is different from TANCET entrance
Campus Life
The flagship event is srijana and it happens in the month of February and annual day is celebrated at the end of the year They are easily accessible Classroom technological fecility has to be updated Sports and extra curricular activities are good There are many clubs like stream event club and non stream event club which happens every week
Admission
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, coimbatore and PSG Institute of Management, coimbatore. I got confirmation with both colleges but I opted for PSG IM as because, I can be a day scholar were in Amrita I have to be in hostel My college admission process is I got through MAT entrance and minimum they expect above 70 percentile and then I had several rounds first Group discussion and followed by Personal Interview. There are some more several entrance exams which are accepted here like CAT,XAT,TANCET and most preferred by students is TANCET
Faculty
The faculty and students relationship are very friendly and they are easily approachable I don't have any favourite or disliked staff's here 2 semester per year and they are tough to get high scores and only few students fail to clear 3-5 students per semester The course curriculum is very relevant to the current market trends
Interview Experience
I had a group discussion and the topic is offline education or online education and personal interview with the resume which I provided to them and to be prepared along with the current trend MAT entrance, GD and PI Preparation from my resume and the current trend
Night Life
Gym, cafeteria, library everything is available in the campus and cafeteria and library closes by 6 pm and gym are accessible till 8 pm i guess I don't have much idea about hostel Coimbatore is very much safe place to explore and it is located nearby to coimbatore city stop and have nearby places like Fun mall, Brokefields,Race course , Lulu hypermarket to roam around and to shop
