Course Curriculum Overview

5

Due increase level of ai technology there are very low amount of software engineer job and the semiconductor market are in growth so I chose ECE instead of CSE. The ece course is very good for the future and so as difficult to study so it's prepared me for further competitive exams. There are no cons in this course till now if there's a thing that I can improve is to take the students to more factory trip so they can understand more about the technology they are studying. After every two to three months there are a exam occurred in the university so it's kinda difficult to prepare.

Internships Opportunities

3

There are good intership for good student in your secure good cgpa you will get paid internship. If you a below average students then not guaranteed you will get the intership or not. So it's depends upon you.

Fees and Financial Aid

I'm doing btech in ECE so I'm paying 142000 course fee per year and other branches like CSE and CSE-AIML have course fee of 157000 per year and other miscellaneous fees is 25000. Non AC hostel fees is 90000 including canteen fees, and AC hostel is 135000 including canteen fees.

Campus Life

5

Gajojyoti is the annual festival which will last long for 3 to 4 days and CUMMILANCE is tech festival and CGDA CUM is management festival. THE library is not the enormous but is ok and you can find every book related to your course. There are various departments and every department has there own labs and technology room like aerospace department have rc plane models and mechanical department have own vechicles and other departments have there own real life project according to them. Very good sport facilities there like basketball, cricket, Futsal, swimming, volleyball and badminton every year they organised there annual sports meet. There are so many club like dance, singing, standup comedy, Entrepreneur, bhagavat Gita , yoga and etc

Hostel Facilities

2

Non AC room have 5 bed and 5 table and 3 fans and one balcony. AC room have 3 beds. And no iron and kettle are allowed in the hostel and AC room has attached bathroom and non AC rooms has common bathroom. Breakfast and dinner are good but lunch and snacks are not that good.

Admission

I prefer this college because it's compatibility less expensive than other colleges who providing same course in different price. A applied in cv Raman but there course fees is little expensive than cutm. For admission in this college either you have to give cuee(Centurion university entrance exam) or you can get direct admission through management quota.

Faculty

5

I'm studying ece so there are very good facilities member we have total 42 ece student we have in our ece department and there are around 8 or 9 ece faculty members. The faculty member I like the most is our python teacher Dr. Swarna Prabha Jena because she informed us Every thing in time and having a weekly department meeting with the students and all other facilities member to address the problem every student facing. Every faculty members we have are very responsible towards us and treating us very well so there is no I dislike. We having total 4 exam in a single year 2 mid sem and two end same. The mid sem are compatibility easier than the end sem

Course Curriculum Overview:

* I had chosen to do mechanical engineering because I had some bond with machines and it's designing and was also aware with the scopes of mechanical engineering. * In real world the curriculum helped me a lot and still it is helpful, currently I'm preparing for position of junior engineer and there it is quite helpful for me. * I don't think any improvement is required in the course curriculum and teaching methods as everything was good at its place and it's also the responsibility of us (students) to know our curriculum thoroughly and give our best. * Exams were conducted at an interval of 6 months and as said earlier exams conducted were moderate level not too difficult or easy and with studies it can be cleared easily

Placement Experience:

Placements at KIIT University for B.Tech CSE are decent and well structured, especially for students who prepare consistently. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester, although pre placement talks training sessions and internships start from the 5th or 6th semester. The university has a centralized placement cell that coordinates training aptitude tests mock interviews and company drives. Many reputed companies visit the campus every year including TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini Deloitte EY Mindtree LTI Bosch HP Amazon and a few product based startups. Mass recruiters make a large number of offers while product and service based companies offer selective roles. The average package for CSE students usually ranges between 4 to 5 LPA, while the highest package can go above 20 to 25 LPA in exceptional cases depending on the company and role such as software developer or data engineer. Around 75 to 85 percent of CSE students get placed through campus placements. Students who remain unplaced usually pursue higher studies startups off campus jobs or competitive exam preparation. Placement success largely depends on individual effort coding skills internships and communication ability. After completing my degree I plan to work in the software industry to gain practical experience and improve my technical skills. Alongside my job I also plan to upskill in advanced technologies and later consider higher studies or specialized roles depending on career growth.

Curriculum is like ok for an govt engineering college not like an iit/nit. There are many departments where equipments are very old & haven't changed for a long time. Exams are conducted very fast like mid sem is conducted in 1/1.5 months and end sem is in 2 months

Campus placement i thik it's in your 4 year of engineering only i.e in your 6 semester. There is a lot of companies visited like jsw ,hindulgo and a lot to go . Jsw provides avg package of INR 12 LPA And it selected only 2 students only. I think girls get placement easily as compared to boys ... companies usually select more female candidates....I think I will go for job rather than doing masters degree.
