Course Curriculum Overview

4

Ayurveda has always fascinated me with its holistic approach to health and wellness. As someone who is passionate about natural and sustainable living, I am drawn to Ayurveda's emphasis on preventive care and the use of natural remedies. During my studies, I was impressed by the diversity of roles available in Ayurveda, from practitioner to researcher to educator. I am excited about the growing demand for Ayurvedic services and products, both locally and globally. I am excited to pursue a career in Ayurveda, where I can combine my passion for natural health with my desire to help others. I look forward to the opportunities and challenges that this field will bring.

Internships Opportunities

4

6 months internship after the academic 4.5 year is compulsory from the college . It is not paid internship but it is part of course so you have to do it anyway. After that 6 months internship can be done from anywhere else . (Total 1 year internship is compulsory after the course).

Fees and Financial Aid

I am an undergraduate student from [Ishan Ayurvedic medical College and research centre], and I wanted to share my thoughts on the college fee structure. As a student, I was keenly aware of the costs associated with attending IAMC, and I often found myself comparing it to other colleges with similar fee structures. The tuition fee at IAMC is around ?254000per year, which is quite reasonable for the course. However, when you add up the other expenses such as room, mess, and fees, the total cost can vary significantly. In my opinion, IAMC offers a better value for money . The faculty at IAMC are more experienced and supportive, and the campus facilities are more modern and well-maintained. Additionally, IAMC offers a wider range of extracurricular activities and resources. Overall, I would say that the college fee structure at IAMC is reasonable and competitive with other colleges in the area.

Campus Life

3

The college has smart classroom. Also the library is well equipped , a lot of books are available in the library. A freshers party, an annual function and and annual sports events along with festivals are celebrated in the college.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel rooms are good . They provide table , chair , bed , almirah, fan and curtains. One can opt for ac,refrigerator, attach/non attach washroom by paying extra amount. Mess food is also okay, 4 meals are provided ( breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner) and quite reasonable. They have menu for each day . Overall hostel is affordable.

Admission

I've already mentioned about why I choosed this college (it's infrastructure , location etc. ) I applied to few more ayurveda colleges but couldn't make there because of my marks in NEET exam. You can get admission in this college through NEET UG exam , no direct admission available. All the counselling and allotment process is done online but for the document verification you have to visit the college.

Faculty

4

We have faculties for each subject and they are not only teachers but also mentors and supporters . They guide us in each and every thing. There are prof system and internal exams are also a part of our evaluation system , held at regular intervals to assess students progress . Students have access to study materials including library books , online library.

Night Life

3

No cafeteria available in the college, a small tapri is there at the gate where you can only get tea and biscuits . Gym and library facilities available. Library opens around 10am and closes at 4pm. Campus timings are 9am-4pm. Hostel timings are 7am-8pm. Visitors are allowed only during day time.
