Remarks

There is mixed feedback something about this college is good some are bad so its an average rated college not too hype not too down. Infrastructure can be improved buildings can be separated more. Near to road so good communication.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Talking about my branch course curriculum is very good. Personally i liked mos lecturer and automobile lecturer. Exam is very strict here teachers took responsibility while being invigilator they conduct the exam process very well.

Placement Experience

1.5

Job opportunities are good for computer science branch but not for mechanical 4 years we just got 2 companies so personally i dont like the campus system. No college doesn't provide internship. They bring only computee or software based companies.

College Events

3

We celebrate annual function followed by dj night every year and that was really a blast and a best memory to remember as mechanical students we celebrate biswakarma puja as well. Independence day and republic day are celebrated as well

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite transparent everything is mentioned in the receipt they take cushion money but did not refunded it. It took almost 6 lakhs in 4 year so i think its expensive for poor students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Odisha govt scholarship prerana i can only avail as being a general student but my room mate got 70k in scholarship as a sc student so good for him. There is a park near the hostel we used to visit their almost everyday.

Campus Life

2.5

Labs are really good with good facilities no shortage of apparatus sufficient to accommodate 40 student at a time. Equipment in lab are in good condition and well maintained. Dor sports college offers cricket kit ,volley ball ,basket ball, in door carrom chesss and many more. The lab specially the lathe section have good faculties and supportive.

Hostel Facilities

2

Yes i have opted for hostel it was outside of hostel campus. Bus came everyday to take us to college. Bus condition is average not so good. In hostel we stayed in partioned room. It was a messy surrounding. Not so good infrastructure. And food is also from outaide of hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

No alumini network is not so good and no one in touch after college days are over so they are not help dull and a negative point for the college and its reputation. Their is no system like alumini network.

Admission

I got ranked in o-jee then during choice locking choose this college then reached this college for admission completed all document woeks and paid the fee. Then they took us to visit the campus and showed us our wing.

Faculty

3.5

As i have mentioned faculties are really good with in depth knowledge about the subject they taught. Specially mos and automobile. Faculties take good care about the students in hostel as well. They do best in their capabilities to make lectures interesting.

The placement is good with highest package being 19 lpa from JP Morgan to lowest is 3 lpa the average package is around 5 lpa . Students are eligible for placement tests from 6 sem as pwc comes for their launchpad program in 6th sem only. Companies like accenture, tcs, Infosys, cognizant, PWC, JP Morgan visit our college. Majority students around 82 percent gets placed in these companies. My plan after college is to work for any of these companies.

Placement Experience:

Placements at KIIT University for B.Tech CSE are decent and well structured, especially for students who prepare consistently. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester, although pre placement talks training sessions and internships start from the 5th or 6th semester. The university has a centralized placement cell that coordinates training aptitude tests mock interviews and company drives. Many reputed companies visit the campus every year including TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini Deloitte EY Mindtree LTI Bosch HP Amazon and a few product based startups. Mass recruiters make a large number of offers while product and service based companies offer selective roles. The average package for CSE students usually ranges between 4 to 5 LPA, while the highest package can go above 20 to 25 LPA in exceptional cases depending on the company and role such as software developer or data engineer. Around 75 to 85 percent of CSE students get placed through campus placements. Students who remain unplaced usually pursue higher studies startups off campus jobs or competitive exam preparation. Placement success largely depends on individual effort coding skills internships and communication ability. After completing my degree I plan to work in the software industry to gain practical experience and improve my technical skills. Alongside my job I also plan to upskill in advanced technologies and later consider higher studies or specialized roles depending on career growth.

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Placements at IIIT Bhubaneswar are generally good and improving, especially for students who stay consistent with coding, projects, and internships. In my college, students usually become eligible for campus placements from around the 7th semester (4th year), while many students start getting internship opportunities and pre-placement offers from the 5th–6th semester itself depending on skills. Every year, companies from the software and IT domain visit the campus for roles like Software Developer / SDE, QA, Analyst, Web Developer, and sometimes Data-related roles, and students also get offers through off-campus applications. Some of the common recruiters include companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, along with product/startup opportunities depending on the year, and multiple students receive more than one offer as well. The highest package and average package vary every year and depend a lot on branch, performance, and market conditions, but overall the college provides decent placement support and training sessions like aptitude, DSA guidance, and interview preparation. The placement percentage is also fairly good for students who actively participate in the placement process, while the rest generally go for higher studies or off-campus roles. After completing my degree, my plan is to either secure a good software developer role through campus/off-campus and build experience, or if I feel more interested academically, I may prepare for higher studies or competitive exams along with improving my skills.

Jsw provides avg package of INR 12 LPA And it selected only 2 students only. I think girls get placement easily as compared to boys ... companies usually select more female candidates....I think I will go for job rather than doing masters degree.
