Course Curriculum Overview
The overall curriculum is very good because as I am pursuing bsc they are providing us with real life learning like visiting the sanctuaries and national parks every semester and ask us to write a field report on it , which is very helpful for us to understand and study the lifestyle of animals and plants. Even we are asked to prepare presentations and explain it infront of whole class which increases our confidence and builds a leadership quality in students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Currently I am studying in second year BSc. And my fees for this year is 14200 which I paid in two terms. The 1st payment was done during the admission process which is after the first year result and the second payment was done recently in December. Students of reserved castes are eligible to apply for scholarship, one of my friend who belong to sc has gained the scholarship and is studying in bsc IT for which the actual fees is 28000 and for scheduled castes it is some what 5000.
Campus Life
Viva college is famous for its campus events specially navratri which is best celebrated in viva college in the whole nalasopara virar city . Even the cultural events are best known in this college students show their best talent during this event.
Admission
For me this was the nearest and best college in my particular district which was providing the respective course in which I was interested. Along with that the education and knowledge given there is best for the one who is really looking for it. The admission is merit based and there are no chances of you not getting your name in merit list. Even if somehow you don't get your name in 1st and 2nd merit list than you can visit the college and talk to the vice principal who will surely make sure that you have your name in the next merit list. Once you are listed in merit you are supposed to make the fees payment and then submit the documents which are needed.
Faculty
According to my personal experience I have faced alot of problem regarding the behaviour of staff specially the fees collecting and examination committee . They do not talk respectfully at all need to improve their cooperation with the students and their parents. There is a great need to talk respectfully specially with the parents who don't understand or who face any problem regarding the admission process.
Night Life
Currently from when I am studying in this college I think the most late night event is the navratri. For camps and trips students of masters are sent so. No other late night event is celebrated in the college.
