Course Curriculum Overview

2

The course curriculum is pretty average which covers almost all the topics. They touch none of the topics in depth for regular CSE branch which is a bit of hump on their advancements. The curriculum is pretty old which only gives overview on the differenct concepts of the CSE. Their biggest drawback is that the faculty teaching is not specialized in the particular subject matter. They bring the chits to teach.

Internships Opportunities

4

If anyone is able to land an internship opportunity, they are allowed to go for it by taking the permission from the Placemnt Cell and HOD. They do not deny for it. They encourge people for finding ones. Also many companies that come to the college come on intership cum full time basis.

Placement Experience

4

Placements, I would say is one of the perks of the college. We hear that if once a student is placed, he/she is not allowed to sit any further for placements, but here they put on brackets instead of completely denying the student to sit for any further placement, which is something very good. The no. of companies coming are good but the trend is not always the same as FAANG companies do not come except Amazon. Other good companies include NatWest, DevRev, Tejas Networks to name a few.

Fees and Financial Aid

1st year - 2,50,000(tuition + caution money) 2nd year - 2,20,000(tuition) 3rd year - 2,20,000(tuition) 4th year - 2,15,000(tuition - caution money) +20,000(placement fee) + 500(ID card). The fee was similar for almost all the batchmates. The difference was only of +/- 5000/year.

Campus Life

1

The campus life was dull with 6 hour classes with no extra curriculars at all. There was only 1 fest organized for my batch that also with so many restrictions such as separate pathways for boys & girls. Very strict administration with local band - not so popular one. No sports or active clubs.

Admission

I chose this college becuase of the discipline that I have heard of about this college. But, after coming here I found that it is having that orthodox culture. The admission process was smooth with no problems at all as the agents are sitting in the admission hall to take the donation and give the admission. They are present their on the incentive basis. I did not apply for any other college as I was not fit for them.

Faculty

2

The faculty members are mostly the post grads from the same college. They have no knowledge on the subject. The subjcts are assigned to them in the lottery basis. There are 2 mid sems namely CAE 1 & CAE 2, and a final ESE per semester. The exam pattern is good with 50% pass marks in each subject after the ESE which is easy to score by just readin & writing the bare minimum. Very few students failed to clear the exams because of their negligence.

Interview Experience

5

No, there was no kind of interview for the admission. I was totally admitted in the basis of 12th marks. They do not hold any interviews. They too conduct their own exams but I see no point in taking that.

Night Life

1

There is no nightlife in the college as the hostels are the strictest in the college. The locality is safe but there is no nightlife around the college as well. The good places to visit in the city are around 15 kms away from the college.
