Course Curriculum Overview

4

There are only two written exams in the whole semester, mid exams and semester end exams, the exams are honestly not that hard. You just need 10/30 in sem end exams to pass. The curriculum is really good, you have to do quizzes after every unit

Placement Experience

4

Students become eligible for placements from their 3rd year itself. There are lots of companies who vist our campus every year including big names like microsoft, accenture, hdfc bank etc. and they make pretty good offers. Tcs also visits and does mass recruitment, one academic year they hired 700+ students in one go. The highest package is 50lpa+ bagged by two students and 6-7 lpa on an average. I would say atleast 80 percent of students are being placed. I plan to do mba after the degree

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee's here is 350000 for the first year for Cse course and it keeps increasing every year by a 5 percent. I wrote their entrance exam and got a scholarship for 15% which exempted me 50000 rupees, they don't take seperate fees for exams or labs or anything, all of that is considered in this 3.5lpa only

Campus Life

5

The biggest annual event held is pramana and it is honestly lit, it takes place for 3 days in the month of February. We have a veryyyy vast library including e-libraries as well. I love the club activities over here they are really indulging. This has to be Gitam's biggest plus point for me

Admission

The other colleges i applied to were MJCET, KL UNIVERSITY and i got a confirmed addmission from them, but i went with this college because i liked the campus infrastructure and facilities available here and it had a better reputation that those two. I was rejected from nit Warangal because my jee score was not enough for me to qualify. The eligibility is you need to have 60 percent in your intermediate and you have to be passed in all subjects, you can use your tseamcet, jee, comedk, apcet and many other exams for admission, or you can write their entry test called GAT to get admitted. You can also try for merit based scholarship with this exam

Faculty

4

There is one faculty for 60 students in a class, the faculties are really approachable. My favourite faculties are kisan bhoi, joby john and Khudsiya zeeshan because of their approachableness. 70 marks are for internals and 30 for internals

Night Life

2

There is no nighlife to be honest, all the good hangout spots are with the campus and outside there is one that we call dabba where you get fast food, there is one restaurant called the palace where people visit often

Placement Experience:

SVIT provides good placement opportunities for general IT roles, but students aiming for niche fields like Cyber Security need to take initiative, upskill themselves, and explore off-campus options. The college is improving slowly, and I believe future batches will benefit more if industry tie-ups are strengthened.

Placement Experience:

Around 40% to 50% of students get placed in entire college. It is totally based on the skill of the student if students has very good skill training and placement officer also offers to apply for companies which only takes skilled students the college is totally computer science and only one section has ECE which is comparatively has less placements compared to other deparments since there is no computer science background this is the drawback for taking Electronics and Communication but if students are skilled in the Electronics backgroung Veda IIT which provides internship and job oppurtunities in VLSI and Embedded Systems but the student has to be a skilled person in the electronics subjects.
