College Review of one of the best colleges in Chennai

There was the compulsory internship in our curriculum which formed a major part of ne selecting this course in spite of getting B. Com. A&F in the same college. There clhld be college provided internships as ut was difficult for students to find internships on their own. We have 2 Continuous Assessments followed by the Semester Examinations with lots of time in between and there are 90 working days in a Semester.

During our 5th semester we become eligible for placement if we do not have any sganding arrears. The highest package that has been offered was 9 Lakhs per annum. But there was a criteria for 80 percentage of marks for this company I am llanning on working after my UG

On an average I paid Rs.80000 per year which changes based on the number of subjects and the lab amenities that we may use during each of the semesters. There are various scholarships available to the students based on merit and family income. The fees also includes the college devopment fund, lab fees, tuition fees, sports fund and we are asked to lay for events that are conducted for students such as the culturals and festive celebrations. Sports students get the maximum benefit if they are from a well established sports background.

There are 2 major cultural events the first being Aarambh and Maithri whcih is for the college students of all years and typically held in October There is Shrishti which is the cultural event hosted by our college whoch typically occurs during the month of September There are various student rum clubs such as RRC,Rotaract, Entrepreneurship Cell and other external activity clubs

I applied to 2 other colleges but this was my first preference as I knew about this college and their placement opportunities which was a major factor for me. The admission process was fairly simple with merit as the key factor for getting in. The admission experience was very smooth and did not require assistance from parents.

The faculty student relationship is professional and the faculties of all departments assist us if any problems arise. There is a well balanced faculty student ratio. The exams are moderately difficult and the curriculum is very relevant. The arrears in ny batch were significantly lower.

The amenities usually close around the time of 4:45PM and opens at 8:30AM in the morning. The library has a reading hall which is frequented by students and there are gym facilities available to hostel students.
