Campus Life
honestly it was a lot of fun, the teachers were very open and friendly as well. Other departments, from what i’ve heard are fun if you find the right people, the teachers are a mix of strict and chill, so who you find is completely based on luck. Overall, there are several activities to keep you busy and give you an experience into organizing events etc, provided you are pro-active enough to ask for it
Admission
First up, I studied in Loyola from 2004 to 2007, Most people think that loyola is only for the rich people and the Christians, but the fact is loyola is for every one, you can see students coming in Benz car, on the other side a poor student from deep south Tamil Nadu with no slippers..the seats are not given based on religion, in my class of 62 people only 13 are christian and the remaining are Hindus and a Muslim student.the English professor had done the same degree in India and went UK to do the same degree again then after he pursued pg and so on..
Faculty
Faculty Some say the faculty members are cooperative and supportive, and ensure that no student fails. Course structure Some courses have an 8-semester pattern, with each semester having two main exams. Exam systems The ratio of the two main exams is 30:70, and students need to score 40 out of 100 marks to pass a subject. Marking schemes The Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA) is based on the total credit points earned by the student in all the courses and the total number of credits assigned to the papers in a semester. Interactive sessions Some say the sessions are interactive, encouraging students to engage in discussions, ask questions, and participate in activities
